I've never liked Milbury. He was always a jerk, on the ice, behind the bench and in front of the camera. I am 100% sure he was not fired just for that comment. He was probably an insufferable jerk to work with. Cancel culture? I hate it too, but I'm not shedding any tears for him

We'll see if the NHL has the stomach to "fix" an embarrassing situation with a team that is: 1) an "Original Six" franchise 2) a "Big Market" team Something tells me the "Little Weasel" Bettman will sweep it under the rug/ use the excuse that it has to be handled privately to protect the victims. Bottom line is that I don't have the confidence the NHL will "Walk the Walk" after it has "Talked the Talk".....

Couldn't agree more. IF the NHL is as "Socially Conscious" as they claim to be, then The hammer should come down very hard on the Chicago Blackhawks and Coach Joel Q. Serious penalties like loss of draft picks, money etc. , There is no excuse. I'd rather have the Sabres be a ***** franchise because of hockey ineptitude than to be a champion and have this type of abhorrent behavior attached to my favorite team

Very dangerous. My son is trained and licenced in NYS for this and did it for many years (Doesn't do it anymore now that he is married and is a father). If you have gone to fireworks show in WNY you have probably seen a show he was involved in. My wife and I were never thrilled with the idea of him doing that because of the danger factor. He'll be the first to tell you there are so many things that can go wrong for professionals let alone the amateurs.

WTF....One really has to consider who they are near at a 4th of July party. Amateurs cause so many needless injuries and deaths (mostly self inflicted), ask anybody who works in an Emergency Room. I'm sure many have witnessed the stupidity of a individual and their "what can wrong?" attitude.... but taking someone else's life because you want to show off is negligent.

Owner/Operator of a small diner/pub or a Bed and Breakfast. Cooking is a passion and making people happy and satisfied is rewarding. Small scale, high quality would be the ultimate. Wouldn’t be doing it to be rich or famous just the pure enjoyment and satisfaction
