  1. I will be in my seats early.
  2. Me too.......Its a big deal, I don't give a sh** if its Matthews, Crosby or Marchand, IT'S ABOUT THE MESSAGE THE RESPONSE SENDS
  3. Yep....I'll wager we don't see a PP today, unless its in garbage time
  4. and how much announcers can ruin a game, Sabres played a nice period and got little credit for it....
  5. Sabres are getting chances.....
  6. Yep, awful....BTW what did Bissonette or whatever his name is do to get that job? Did he fellate someone? I don't remember him at all as a player
  7. With all due respect, I could have worded it differently). I will argue with you at a later date why we are the best fans but not today as it is off topic, my bad. Let me better illustrate my point.... Sabres fans did not deserve to get PUNKED by the little brat called Jack. To go even further.....The ESPN+ Post game commentators who scrambled to find words for Jack's comments (resembled someone trying to polish a turd) and the NHL Network commentator later on that evening that said "I really respect a player that speaks his mind" are ignorant to what its been like to be a Sabres fan for the last 12 years. To me, being an apologist for Jack Eichel is just as boorish as Jack's comments. As for Eichel, I'm glad it bothered him. Eichel never wanted to be here, caused more trouble than he was worth and deserves every boo he gets from us every time he plays here. Rivet said it best, he used to hate to play here as an opposing player. I hope to god we are on the way back up to that kind of environment in that arena.
  8. Rivet is the real deal. Sat next to him at a Sabres Luncheon for Season ticket holders during his playing days. Exactly what you would expect from a hockey player, a regular guy of the “lunch bucket”variety. Rivet is telling you what he feels from as a hockey player from a different era. That podcast was a little theater but hey it’s a podcast…. I suspect there is a lot about Jack and the regime that will come out now. Jack’s immature ways and smart a** mouth may have opened the door for some very unflattering things. I welcome it. If It ruins Jack’s reputation so be it. Then again Jack is doing it to himself, he always has. Jack Eichel threw the first stone (and many other stones), making a mistake the other night by calling out the best fan city/base in all of North America. The former players who have adopted this city as their own will demonstrate that and defend us.
  9. It shouldn't be a surprise....What can you say about brat boy? Taking it out on the fans is bad. Do we really need to be sh** on by him? Haven't we had it bad enough? NHL network announcers are a bunch of cowards for their coverage with one guy saying " I'd rather see a player speak his mind" Really? The NHL has always had a "gag" order on its coaches and players. What a bunch of sh**! Booing a player is part of the fan experience, get over it. He is supposed to be professional. MAYBE....It is going to all come out now. All of the stories from behind the scenes about the disaster this really was.
  10. Exactly what I would expect from Jack. NOT A LEADER, NOT A WINNER, Best thing that happened is: He is gone
  11. Grandma used to say.....Good Riddance to Bad Rubbish
  12. Patiently waiting for NHL Network recap, will be on after commercial break..
  13. Jack always reminded me of a hockey brat......his commentary doesn't change my mind.
  14. Right about now, this team is barely deserving of Holiday or Leisure rinks. 😆
  15. I feel that a team that has been awful for a decade just doesn't get any respect or sympathy from NHL refs and it often feels like the refs are "piling on"....
  16. So, they roll out the "Let's get you to renew your season tickets" campaign and get two nice wins followed by two absolutely awful goal-less efforts. Which efforts should/would we use to influence the decision making on whether to re-up?
  17. Panthers aren't even celebrating their goals, they are looking a little sheepish at how easy it is
  18. To me its an "incomplete" on Donny Meatballs report card. Hard to evaluate what you can do when you're given sh** to work with. Think of your own job/occupation, COULD you do it effectively if you weren't given the proper materials, staff etc? Of course not !!
  19. Curtis Brown was hard working and talented enough hands-wise to get shorties.......maybe?
