Many of us have been using our eyes this year and have seen the improvement.......encouraging for sure.
Now the difficult question, and I'm not trying to be argumentative but when do you start judging the team by wins, points and playoffs? What season?
I think we are speaking the same language....I said "fallen off the cliff and all is lost" , meaning a real dire situation. It's not a dire situation after every game we lose (although we make it out to be that way). In the big picture they have responded this year to the big downturns . It would be nice if we did it again and started it today that's all. As far as what I'm sure of....the NHL is a streaky league and posters are fickle...me included
Was going to include that..... absolutely.... just like the D-men contribute in the neutral zone and in the offensive zone. Forwards cannot take a vacation when the puck is in their end. There's plenty to improve upon for the forwards in that regard
I'll take the opposite approach, Every time this team appears to have convinced us they have fallen off the cliff and all is lost, they rebound.
I'm feeling like we eke one out against the Blueshirts.....lets say 5-3 or 5-4 and hopefully it kickstarts them a little
