Struggling through "The Echo Maker" by Richard Powers. Sad story of a guy who nearly dies in a car accident and then doesn't recognize his own sister who helps nurse him back to health after brain surgery. So, I started re-reading "Quantum Criminals" by Pappedamas and Lemay about Steely Dan, Donald Fagen and Walter Becker, and the stories behind all the strange characters in their songs. Recommended for any other Dan Fans out there.
