  1. Was there. We looked awful and had we been playing any other team besides Bridgeport we would've lost easy. Team looked like they were gassed from the night before and were really sloppy all over the ice but Bridgeport is beyond horrible and has only won once at home in 15 games this season.
  2. Was always a Whalers fan. Adopted the Sabres after they were murdered because they were the only Adams Division team I didn't hate (Hated the Habs and HATED the ***** Teddy Bear Scum). My wildest dream would be dragging Karmanos to the steps of the Civic Center and choking him until the ***** came pouring out of his nostrils while the entire city of Hartford wildly celebrated (and Governor Convicted Felon would be next).
  3. The Whalers had as depressing an existence as it gets but until that fat pig Karmanos officially pulled the plug they were never as depressing and hopeless as this stinking pathetic shower of ***** franchise. The Whalers death causes me pain to this very day, there is not a day that goes by where I don't think about how much I loved them and how I would give anything to have them back. If the Sabres went away I wouldn't have that feeling of sadness, it would be the feeling of relief of seeing a loved one dying of some horrible disease finally being out of their misery and their suffering over.

  5. 5,000 days. Can't make THAT up.
  6. While Jack Quinn is one of the worst most negative value players in the entire league Marco Rossi is tearing it up in Minnesota. HECKUVA JOB KEVYN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  7. As long as Pegula is the owner there is no hope whatsoever. He a sad stupid stubborn old fool incapable of learning from his neverending mistakes.
  8. They were getting carved up like a turkey against Dallas with guys skating in on goal unmolested at will, I shudder to think what MacKinnon is going to do to them tonight.
  9. That sounds like a pretty damning scouting report but how would a guy who doesn't stand out at any level end up a lottery pick? That doesn't make any sense.
  10. The ending of this game does deserve to be remarked upon: it's well established that a team defending an empty net will be allowed to do almost anything and the refs will swallow their whistles. In all my years of watching hockey I can't recall ever seeing a team ATTACKING an empty net allowed to do whatever the hell they wanted with the ref swallowing the whistle until last night. That was insane.
  11. There is no hope until Pegula is gone. None. In a few years the "But The Bills Mafia" are going to find that out the hard way when he screws them up royally.
  12. If you put a flight attendant in charge of air traffic control what do you think the result would be? That's what making Adams GM was, and the results have been exactly what should've been expected.
  13. I for one look forward to these kids coming to Buffalo and having their careers destroyed by the worst organization in hockey history playing with the last group of kids who were poisoned and destroyed and failing miserably.
  14. Doubt it. There are 4 close to historically bad teams in the west alone and you know we will win enough meaningless games to get into the 7-8-9 range. This is literally the most hopeless team in all of pro sports.
  15. Was in Bridgeport tonight and saw them lose 4-1 to Providence. This was not surprising as they have played 15 home games and won... Once. Yeah.
  16. They've already accomplished that long ago, they will just keep digging the hole deeper.
  17. Both of them were awful but still had significantly more success than Pegula.
  18. And he'll come into a roster of widdle kiddies with no leadership and fail and demand out 5 years later just like the last guy. Nothing matters while Terry Pegula is still with us. Worst owner in the history of hockey and second place isn't even close.
  19. They didn't "stay viable": The league was keeping the team on life support because they were desperate to remain in the market. I honestly don't think you understand how catastrophic a 6,000 season ticket base is (particularly in what is by far the smallest American market).
  20. Hope they enjoy drawing smaller crowds than Arizona was playing in Mullet Arena until then. Next season they have a good shot at having under 6,000 season tickets sold in a league still heavily reliant on ticket revenue.
  21. Adams is uniquely horrible in that he simply is incapable of grasping the concept of roster construction. His trades and drafts have been nothing more than grabbing pieces with absolutely no regard to if they fit. The Byram trade was Peak Adams: Trades someone at a position where we are weak/have no depth for a guy who is completely redundant and adds NOTHING to what we already have.
