If you are constantly dropping points on home ice it strongly suggests that the coaching staff has something to answer for.

You would think a guy who has made several good trades while in a position of weakness (Jack, Sam, Risto) would make more trades as he seems pretty good at them.

That was honestly one of the absolute worst sporting events I have ever attended. Only ones comparable: Mets-Dodgers game 4 NLCS with Soscia hitting the game tying 3 run home run off Doc and killing my dream of going to the WS with my dad. Bengals-Jets last game ever at Giants Stadium. Just about the coldest event I have ever been to, Bengals down 31-0 at the half and it was over. Sabres-Leafs 2019. 500 Sabres fans tops at KBC. Enough said. USMNT VS Costa Rica 2017 WCQ at RBA. Absolute disaster that set the stage for the unthinkable in Trinidad a month later. Too many goddamned Metrostars/Red Bulls matches to even list.

Again: What the ***** did they spend the preseason on? Totally disorganized and less sharp than a butterknife.

Just have to hope this is a wake up call/reality check. If they show up like this on Saturday the game will be over before the first period ends.

Looks like I need to take a trip to the NHL Store before heading out to meaningless baseball doubleheader today.

Was wondering if anyone knows if the store has the Goattroopers (reverse retro jerseys) and if they are on clearance? Want to know because the NHL Store down here has the replicas for $68 but if the Sabres Store has them for a comparable price I'll wait until the 12th and give them my money instead.

By worst I meant that a team has never had as bad a stretch as this 0-12 with only the first and last of those years seeing meaningful games past mid February. Before we had the 4th best all time w/l record and now I think we are middle of the pack (and one of only 3 pre 1991 teams who have never won a cup).

Right now we are the least successful team in the over 100 year history of the NHL with owners who squandered away more goodwill than almost any in the history of pro sports. Things are looking up but the insane levels of damage inflicted is going to take time to repair.
