Thanks. He needs to be simple and directed. He looks somewhere between confused and lost out there. When he was effective in Minnesota, there was a purpose to his game which is missing now.

Greenway needs to finish the season with Okposo and Girgensons to learn like Krebs did. Simplifying his game will help him immensely.

Anyone else think Jokiharu has looked like a borderline-legitimate #4D since Dahlin has been playing hurt? That does not obviate the need for a better defenceman, but is does mean that I will feel better whenever there is an injury in the top 4.

Whatever we do, I want part of training camp and practice next year to include clutching, grabbing, late hits, sucker punches, and diving so that we get used to fighting through that garbage.

What puzzles me is that the officials let almost everything go all game and then suddenly call 3 lesser penalties towards the end of the game.

The price is probably 2024 1st, someone you don't want to trade, and someone you would prefer not to trade.

Saros was enough on the market that the Kings asked and, according to some Nashville fans, the Predators made a counter-proposal. Talks apparently ended there. However, assuming you are correct, I don't see the need to expend three prime assets to get Carter Hart or someone similar. I will go 1 prime asset and a decent one, but no further. Alternatively, there should be a hockey trade there which is mutually beneficial. And I would pay more for Demko.

I would not expend a first for Carter Hart. I would absolutely expend a first for Soros.

To be fair to the Devils, the first team to use the neutral zone trap were the Canadiens under Cosch Dick Irvin Sr. and GM Tommy Gorman. If you watch the Sabres-Habs games on YouTube, you will see how they played it and Buffalo beat it.
