The ugliness of the Trump candidacy is he is both

Romney's tirade yesterday convinced me my decision not to support him in the last election was justified. If that is not exhibit A about the shallowness of politicians, I don't know what is. When it was in his best interest to court Trump, Romney told us Trump was great for the economy and understanding the American people. And now when he wants to stop him from becoming President, he tells us he is a train wreck.

I was watching CNN coverage last night. They are starting to come around on the Trump candidacy. You can see it in their body language, their tone and their coverage.

I tilt right and I want them gone.. Every freaking one of them. Interesting article... If he is the GOP nominee, it will be interesting to see him debate Hillary. That would be must see TV. I think she could mop the floor with him.

There is a mood in this country that I have not seen before in my lifetime and from my optic no one seems to be able to accurately predict what it means. I heard all the talking heads last Sunday say Trump's ceiling was 30-35%. I heard them say when the field narrows, he will stay at 35% and the others will rise. So now Nevada is in and Trump is now at 45% and his challengers are still right where they were, Bush is out and his ten percent seems to have gone to Trump. I'm fascinated by what is happening.

Delegate Count after Nevada for GOP, 1273 needed to win, 2348 not yet delegated : Trump: 79 Cruz: 16 Rubio: 15 Delegate Count before SC for DEMs, 2383 needed to win, 4193 not yet delegated Clinton: 502 (includes 451 super delegates) Sanders: 70 (includes 19 super delegates)

A pittance for what it costs to fly the President of the US ANYWHERE, And if he takes his family, add some zeros.. Didn't one of the recent Presidents fly his bed? Reagan??

Well that's me. I have flipped my vote back and forth over a 36 year voting history. I trend more Republican, but only if the candidate resonates with me. This year was a veritable cornucopia of underwhelming candidates on both sides. I vote my gut feel for who I think will do a better job.

I been musing about this as well. He can't govern unilaterally, so he will need to put out policies that can garner support. Once he makes his first gaff, he'll realize the magnitude of his words and pulpit. Still, I think he would be an unmitigated disaster. To flip his phrase, it's going to be so bad...

The Sunday morning talking heads were essentially saying the same thing, There is 35% of the vote out there that is hard core Trump and that is peaked and flat lined. There is 65% of the vote out there that is peaked and anti-Trump. Once the field narrows, the anti-Trump candidate will emerge and begin winning. The problem is Kasich believes he can win Michigan and Ohio, Cruz thinks he can get Texas and some of the South and Rubio thinks he will get Florida. If that happens, the anti-Trump vote will continue to get split. Trump should politically-bribe Kasich to drop out after Super Tuesday and promise him VP.
