Won another week essentially without goalies, although I did finally get my Number 1 (Miller) draft pick back. Hopefully this week I can compete in the goalie categories too. Finally got Gaborik back too and he pushed me over the top. Ascended from 16th to 11th. Beware the 'Bergs...

Three different games played tonight. Sabres owned in first, owned the second and got owned again in the third. Finally a win on home ice. 7 of last 8 points. It's time to sit Tyler Myers. He needs a solid week watching in the press box. It's not a sophmore slump. His game is just not there. His decision making is really poor. The PP was flat out awful tonight even though they had a bunch of shots and a goal. Every team in the league knows all you need to do is pressure the puck handler and the Sabres will turn it over. They had two four minute double minors and couldn't tally. Two nice goals by TV tonight. Hopefully, that gets him moving. Bring on Calgary.

Tonight will be different.. Buffalo blows them out 7-2.

I finally get a goalie back tonight. I'm losing 9-8 currently. Second week I've had no goaltending due to injury and splitting the results.

Admittedly, his game is to be a cherry picking sniper. What had me and has me scratching my head was why the Devils would want him. They haven't played that style in a decade, if ever. It's as bad a fit as I've ever seen. And then to dump that kind of coin makes me wonder if the NJ management team is smoking something. How could they get sucked into a salary so big that they can only field 17 players? Nothing about Kovy in NJ makes any sense. Heck the Kovy contract is so bad, it almost, notice I said almost, makes the Vanek contract look okay.

Always wanted to start one of these. So I've been watching, but not posting much. Win tonight, and maybe, just maybe, they can turn around a bad start. Whether it's too little, too late won't be known for some time. But two road wins is a definite start. Go Sabres, please.

Yeah I get that, but try winning when surrendering 20% of the point total without firing a single shot. I'm still amazed.

Thanks for the trade offers, but it's a long season. These guys will eventually be back. Turns out I won the week 8-7-4 without any goalies.. Go figure..

So I find myself down both goalies. Anderson of CO on IR and Miller on DTD. There isn't a goalie to be had.

Man you crushed me last week. I got double boned by the Sabres. Roy scored all those goals and Miller gave up all those leads. I'm amazed I didn't lose 20-0-0. So far, this week is better.

Three kids. That's an incredible load to bear. One is beyond draining.

Plain luck of the draw. Happened to be there and tickets were available. Sat in upper bowl in Florida for 16 bucks.. No parking fee either... DC was with family. Got 4 tickets for 20 bucks each. This was early season before folks figured out they were really good.
