What I truly don't get about Ralph Wilson is why he doesn't just go for broke. He's owned the team since the 60's and hasn't enjoyed a championship since then. He's in the twilight of his life, seemingly has all the money he can need. Wouldn't you just go for broke and see if you couldn't pull off a championship? I mean what is he saving his money for? He already has the best diaper service money can buy....

I cancelled Sunday ticket for the first time in 14 years. That should tell you what I think their season is going to be like. I look at the schedule and just don't see how they'll win more than six games. My guess is they'll continue to lose this year, just not by as much. They'll win just enough to miss out again on a real QB and we'll be talking next year how Tyler Thigpen is going to be the man to rock the Ralph.

Last year, the system locked certain players from being traded, i,e, Crosby and OV. Otherwise trades and pickups are allowed. Two years ago the system required a 24-hour wait period before a pickup could play. Last year, you could pickup and play anyone minutes before a game. So it had a revolving door effect. Pick up someone before the game and drop them right after. If you were losing the goalie category, you could find a starter out there for a night and try to work that category back to your favor. It was ammended mid-season to a certain number of waiver moves a week. 7 I think. Gold will not be as loose and will require a TBD waiting period before a pickup plays.

Best of luck.. Can't imagine why you'd want to give up all those long days, traffic snarls and hard work for some cushy desk job.

Compare that to all the car accidents on a summer night.. Still a small number comparatively..

I was kind of thinking along these lines as well.. I think this is a perception issue. For every motorcycle you can identify as a maniac driver, how many cars fit this bill as well? I see more stupid moves of car-on-car and car-on-truck aggression everyday on I-95 than I do with motorcycles. Our perception might be skewed because you see so few motorcycles on the road compared to cars. They are just more memorable because they are rarer. If you see 15 instances of cars tailgating or speeding and one instance of a motorcyle being tailgated or speeding, what are you going to remember?

Congrats!!! I don't like the daily throttling of the waiver wire. Pickups should not be allowed to play before 24hrs has elapsed. There was way too much lineup stocking going on. It just doesn't seem like it's in the "spirit" of fantasy hockey. I also want the Shutout stat brought back for goalies. Seems like they should be rewarded for that. 'Games started' encouraged lineup throttling. Lose it. Faceoffs lost, lose it.

That whole bit is good stuff... I liked his three level threat system..

I was just looking at the standings. How the hell is Gerbe dual listed as Center and LW? There is NFW he plays Center on the Sabres. What a gift and scam.

LOL... I use to like Duke too... But I soured on them much like the Yankees.. Maybe soured isn't the right word, burned out might be more appropriate.
