The Jets represent the physical style of play come November, December and January. I'm not a Fitz fan. I think he has no arm and makes bad decisions when throwing the ball beyond the line of scrimmage. So the Jets just showed everyone that there is nothing to worry about down field. They played up close on the WRs and played eight men in the box to stop Freddy. Now I agree they have better CBs than most, but the key to stopping this Bills team is to own the 10 yards around the line of scrimmage. Why, because that is where the 70% completion rate comes from. It is not that they lost, it was how they lost. If this game was 21-20, then I would have had no problem. But it wasn't and it was far from it. This game calibrated my expectations. Nothing more...

Where did I say the season is over? All I said was I now know all I need to know about our Bills and they were thoroughly out played today.
-
If Buffalo had showed ANY level of compete today, I would agree with you. They were embarassed in all facets of the game today in front of a friendly crowd. On to Dallas... Nice to see Eli take out the Pats.

I learned all I need to know about our Bills today..

4 out of 5 NFL network went with the Bills. All except Marshall.. White Uni's at home for the first time since Kelly's rookie season.

Boy listening to the talking heads, this is a game Buffalo can't win, won't win. The press is all pro Jets this week.

I honestly don't know what to make of our Bills. I keep waiting for the sky to fall. Cause the sky always fall on them. Then they go out and shutout the Skins. I figured sooner or later the odds would favor them beating the Pats. It would have been a more meaningful win had it happened in NE. So I've been dismissive of that win. The Raiders and Chiefs were early season and those games are always a crap shoot. Heck look where the Chiefs are now. The two losses were very predictable. Now along comes the NY Jets with the Bills looking down on them. This is a bellweather game for me. If they beat the Jets tomorrow, I'll start to believe. I want to believe..

I'm truly shocked. :clapping:

Have the Bills ever had 10 sacks? My guess is hell no..
-
If that is true, that's fantastic. I played the Bills in my fantasy team this weekend and ended up tied. That would give me two points more and a win.

You forgot QED.

LOL... How did you get there?

I seem to be doing a-okay even though I only have one goalie. Found another goalie on the scrap heap this morning, so now I'm up to 2 starters at least. Really like the 2-waiver move maximum. It should make you look before you leap. It seems like my 2 moves are gone on Monday morning and then I spend the rest of the week with buyer's regret.

Last night's show was saved by the ending. Definitely liked the drama of sacrificing that guy to zombi food. Also like the irony of a guy hanging himself, turning into Zombi food and then turning into a zombi. But... How many shows are they going to devote to a lost child and a shot boy?

Crazy end to the Pitt-Patriots. Tom Terrible today had 30 or so seconds left down by 6. He went back to pass. Had the ball knocked out of his hand, so sack and fumble. Then Polamalu punched the ball backwards and it went out of the end zone. So safety. Nice to see them Patriots go down. Never gets old, does it?

Last week's episode was boring. Let's hope they get back on track tonight.

Crazy.. 5-2 and in first place in the AFC East with the NY football Jets coming to town..

And that's it in a nutshell. Buffalo is officially out of the QB market now for at least 3 years, maybe 6. So "until something better comes along" is now a long way off. It is so damn frustrating to see a team make one bad decision after another. Soon an entire decade has gone by. Buffalo has consistently had high draft picks over the last decade and yet Rodgers, Brees, Rivers, Ryan, Newton are on other teams while they consistently miss the market on QBs. Last year Wilson promised to draft a QB of the future and then the Harvard genius came on the scene. I told my friends, you watch, Buffalo will make this guy into a QB, just watch. I think most people give credit to Gailey and not Fitz for making Fitz into a game QB. How, he manages his game to match Fitz dink and dunk offense. Just think what Gailey could do with a real QB. We'll probably never know because it is unlikely he'll survive long enough to coach a blue chip QB.

Montana could throw a deep ball with a high degree of accuracy. Remember the first play of the Superbowl against Cincy when he hit a steaking Jerry Rice. I'm sorry, Fitz doesn't make that throw. He just doesn't. Not now, not ever.
-
I fundamentally disagree with this. A weak arm QB that can't make all the throws is too easy to defend. It sure helps to be smart, but that isn't enough. You have to be a complete QB to be effective. If you can't throw the deep outs, no safety in this league is going to respect that and will play the line without having to cheat/guess.

Couldn't have said this better myself... "Bills signed QB Ryan Fitzpatrick to a six-year, $59 million extension with $24 million guaranteed. Fitzpatrick was making just $3.195 million this year, the final season on the backup contract he signed in February of 2009. While the 29-year-old's talent is thoroughly unimpressive, Fitzpatrick has Buffalo off to a 4-2 start, benefiting from coach Chan Gailey's quarterback-friendly scheme. The Bills would be smart to continue exploring the quarterback crops in upcoming drafts, because Fitzpatrick is only a mediocre long-term solution. He's been prone to fast starts and slow finishes in two seasons as the Bills' starter. The new deal is exorbitant considering Fitzpatrick's physical skill set" Source: Joe Buscaglia on Twitter

BOO  Six more years of a weak arm QB.. Please sell the damn team already...
-
That happened with me and Mike Fisher... I was annoyed cause I had other options...
-
I expect Quick to come back down to earth... He had a monster week..
-
Had my best week in a long time.. Sorry Tom Webster, your team is undermanned at the moment..
