Agree with this sober criticism of Tuch's game: he does not play with the tenacity or physicality that dictates a shift. He IS skilled enough to be a productive member of an effective offensive line. I like him, but my 80s and 90s hockey programming has me upset at every forecheck he doesn't finish (or even START lol).

Bravo to this line right here.

On the transition before Krebs's goal I had actually, maybe like others, noticed his immediate hustle on turning and skating really hard after losing possession to catch the puck, so I was watching him and nodding approval as the turnover was forced and carried over into one heck of a baseline drive to the basket. It was this perfect, immediate response to a frustrating offensive zone TO and was (maybe improbably) rewarded as such.

You are...a lot. (That's what she said)

Connor McDavid's 1st, 3rd, and 4th seasons were losing seasons. Alex Ovechkin has played for 2 or 3 losing teams, and is on another one right now.

I've seen superstars play for teams with losing records.

GDT: Coyotes @ Sabres 8 November 2022, 7 PM MSG-B, BSAZ

The possession and shot numbers (5:5 especially) very clearly show the Sabres were able to "control" the action the majority of the time. Unfortunately, that did not translate to goals for/against. for a one game sample, that can be explained away by all kinds of NHL randomness. Shooters and goalies have ebbs and flows, and pucks do crazy things. It is difficult to dispute the posters who saw the Sabres able to possess the puck, work the cycle, and pass around the perimeter, but unable to create high danger chances. Some of that is bad luck on rebounds and blocks, but a lot of that is a consistent lack of net-front presence. -

Now just wait a G-D minute...even IF such technology exists (I'm skeptical), how do you explain almost EVERY single Sabres mom using it? That would be...a new cliché? Next thing you're going to tell me is that they all have their hair cut ABOVE the shoulders (and probably even shorter). -

We'd all probably have signed up for 7-5 after 12 games. But damn it. -

That was abysmal defense. That's too bad. -

Either sloppiness or fatigue creeping in a bit now. Gotta dig deeper to beat this team on the road. At least steal a point? -

Why is like every Sabres mom a blonde? That's genetically...unlikely.
