I agree… There’s too many checks and balances and eyes on the situation now… Was the Crosby draft fixed? Was the year after that? And how about the year after that? At some point there were too many checks and balances and eyes put in place where fixing a draft was absolutely impossible.

I wanted to give DG a full season pretty much to evaluate this question… So my answer now is… Yes he has the best coach since Lindy Ruff the Sabres have had. I like the way he thinks the game, I like the way he makes adjustments especially period to period. I like the way he mixes up the lines if a certain line has become stagnant or ineffective. Even if it’s a temporary mix up. And lastly I like his demeanor on the bench and off the ice.

Amen to this! I have felt that way since going to the first game at the arena in 97. Very shortsighted planning when it comes to elevators. And the single escalator on both sides. It should’ve been double escalators. Very poor planning in my opinion.

Why does TNT’s wikapedia page still show him with a St. Louis Blues jersey? Does someone know how to change that? Same with Okposo’s. Outdated. Anyway, he’ll be 25 in October. Would it be too much risk to go 7 years at 7 mil per? That way it’s not an obnoxious amount like Skinner‘s contract. And if TNT has down years, 7 mil. hurts but shouldn’t be crippling.
