  1. I think part of the problem is also… The antiquated mindset that if you’re taller than 6’ 2” you need to be a physical specimen who crushes people and plays a grinding physical game. Or another common phrase “uses his body”. there are many players that could be listed who are not “physical” at all who have had long NHL careers, and are over 6’ 2”. The very first one that comes to my mind… Tyler Myers. He is still playing in the league, and yet he’s really not physical at all. Not for what some people expect a 6’ 7” player to be. And one can list players that are no taller than 6’ who are “physical” as all hell, and good at it. Like I said it’s an antiquated mindset. A height of a player no longer determines the level of their “physical” game. Or the expected level of “physical” play. Especially for today’s NHL.
  2. They actually made Ullmark look passable as a starting NHL goalie.
  3. And a few are scum bags….
  4. Ok, so is RJ calling this game? Earlier someone said no, he’s just along for the road trip. But I’m hearing he IS calling the game.
  5. Bruins fans suck balls Bruins fans are so classless Go to hell Bruins 😬
  6. Some people are confused… Because I am reading and hearing that RJ will call tonight‘s game. And I don’t mean confused here… I mean confused with what I’m reading and hearing elsewhere 😂
  7. Well the fact that I could not possibly care less about the NFL draft… I’ll be only watching the Sabres game. I don’t know why that wasn’t a choice 🤔
  8. • The team's performance this season has guaranteed an improvement in points percentage of at least .115, regardless of the outcome of the two remaining games. • It marks the eighth time in franchise history and first time since 2015-16 (.165) that the team has improved its year-over-year points percentage by at least .10. • If the Sabres were to win their last two games, they would finish with the fifth-best year-over-year points percentage improvement in franchise history. • Buffalo has scored 226 goals this season, marking its highest output since the team scored 240 goals during the 2010-11 campaign. • Buffalo enters tonight's game with four consecutive wins in the same season for the first time since the team won 10 games in a row from Nov. 8 to 27, 2018. • The Sabres are 15-8-3 since March 2 and rank 11th in the NHL with a .635 points percentage during that span.
  9. Yea, I don’t know the first thing about betting on sports let alone using an app on my phone to bet … but I’m very interested in someone teaching me lol
  10. I think Eichel was just glancing up at the Jumbotron… And not rolling his eyes… But I could be wrong. I could see making a case for either.
  11. I’m sure the article is great. A lot of red meat to devour. I just think deadspin is horrid.
  12. Thanks for the answers @matter2003 and @Taro T …. I thought the bar was set higher for the NFL HOF. That’s not a knock or an intended insult to the HOF. I genuinely thought the bar was set higher. So with those answers you gave… I guess there is a good possibility that Josh Allen gets into the HOF. Incredible.
  13. I am admittedly speaking out of ignorance… So this is a honest question… If Josh Allen takes the bills to the playoffs several times in his career but never make it to the Super Bowl, let alone win the Super Bowl… Is he still considered a Hall of Famer when he retires? Wouldn’t that be kind of debatable? And are other quarterbacks who had that kind of career not in the Hall of Fame?
  14. Did you try calling Dave and Adams And ask that question? Try them first, pick their brains.
  15. May, June, July, August, September, October.
  16. Sooooo not enough. By a looooong shot
  17. Only Hodgson. It’s the last year next year.
  18. Good god no
  19. When he gains more experience and confidence … yes. I’m not concerned about what rookies or young guys are not doing perfectly this season. Works in progress.
  20. Even if he doesn’t hit 40. I just hope it’s not Skinner stupid money. I’d rather go longer term but lower cap hit rather than short term higher cap hit.
  21. Skinnerrrrrrrrrrrr bif bam boom
  22. TNT’s goal was 96mph! Yikes. Dude rips it.
  23. “Getting a sense” is exactly what I mean by eating up what they say. I Understand for some fans it’s important for them to hear what the GM says at the end of season press conference. They wanna be able hang their fandom hat on something going into the off-season. and that’s fine. I’m just not one of those fans that believe anything that comes out of the GM’s mouth going into the off-season. Other than reflecting on what just happened during the season. And even that I would take with a grain of salt to a degree. I’ve seen and I’m sure you’ve seen enough postseason press conferences with enough sports throughout the years to know that things just aren’t said and given to the masses for a reason. I just don’t look forward to them for reasons I’ve stated. … to each his/her own. 👍🏼
