Offseason Gameplan 2022 - Solving the goaltending system wide.
Zamboni replied to GASabresIUFAN's topic in The Aud Club
Do we know if every single injury since his hip surgery … is the same body part and ailment? Or are his injuries different areas of his body? because in my mind if it’s different body parts, and ailments … that’s not too concerning for me. but if it’s the same body part that’s injuring over and over… That’s pretty concerning. -

Until you get kissed by this invasive to Lake Erie eel. -
If that’s what’s going to get it done… Do it for two years. If he’ll sign for a little cheaper… Bonus.
-
Meh … how about the “everyone gets a trophy”, trophy. 😂
-
No thanks on Zadorov. He doesn’t bring enough desirables IMO.
-
Who ever the best UFA goalie is, that can be signed for only 2 years. No more. That guy. Even for a semi stupid amount. Is it MAF? Secure the goalie first. Then fill in where needed after that.

You want to be here for a long time Tage? Put your money where your mouth is. Don’t just spew lip service for the masses to eat up. Sign a 6 to 8 year deal at a cap hit under 7 per. THAT would show a lot of fans you want to be here when you could potentially get more from another team. At least that’s what I think …

Who do we have a chance it?

Tuch either has a cold, a nervous twitch, or he’s into the nose candy pretty deep. 😂

Woah, It’s Yukon Cornelius!
-
It would be cool of someone grabbed the GW puck with the intention of presenting it to RJ later. 👍🏼

-
Is his first name really Jack? Or John? 🤔 Seriously, good for him 👍🏼

He may come back and say hello or visit in the press box with DD, but as far as a full on play-by-play of a game, I think he’s done. and of course I hate to sound grim… But you always hear about those people who work a really long time, then retire, and The thing that they woke up for on a daily basis is gone, So their health diminishes and they end up passing away a short time later. Of course I hope this doesn’t happen… But it has crossed my mind.

I have one. It’s an XL. In excellent condition. Worn maybe 10 times max. Willing to sell… You may not like the price… If you’re interested or if anybody’s interested they can message me.

The Buffalo Sabres will play their final game of the 2021-22 season tonight. The Chicago Blackhawks are in town for a 7 p.m. faceoff from KeyBank Center. A limited number of tickets still remain. Pregame coverage on MSG starts at 6:30 p.m. Rick Jeanneret and Rob Ray will have the call on MSG and WGR 550. After the game, RJ will retire to end a 51-year career as the team's play-by-play announcer. Using the Mixhalo app, fans at the game can bring their headphones and listen to RJ's final broadcast live without delay in the arena bowl on their smartphone. The first 10,000 fans in attendance will also receive a commemorative "RJ's Last Call" T-shirt. "Last Call" content throughout the season has been presented by Wegmans. At the conclusion of the game, fans are encouraged to stay in their seats to salute Jeanneret one final time. • This is the second and final between the Sabres and Blackhawks this season. • Last meeting: Buffalo defeated Chicago 6-5 in Chicago on March 28. • The Sabres are 2-4-4 in their last 10 games against the Blackhawks; 4-5-1 at home. • This is the 126th game all-time between Buffalo and Chicago; Buffalo has a 55-53-17 series record. • The Sabres are 35-19-8 at home against the Blackhawks all-time. • The team's performance this season has guaranteed an improvement in points percentage of at least .115, regardless of the outcome of tonight's game. • It marks the eighth time in franchise history and first time since 2015-16 (.165) that the team has improved its year-over-year points percentage by at least .10. • With a win tonight, the Sabres would finish with the seventh-best year-over-year points percentage improvement in franchise history. • Buffalo has scored 226 goals this season, marking its highest output since the team scored 240 goals during the 2010-11 campaign. • A win tonight would give Buffalo consecutive victories over Chicago for the first time since the team won three in a row from Dec. 3, 2003 to Dec. 15, 2007. • The Sabres have not won two games against the Blackhawks in the same season since 2000-01. • The Sabres are 25-18-7 all-time in the final game of the regular season.

What's your overriding emotion on this momentous day of Rick's last call?

I think part of the problem is also… The antiquated mindset that if you’re taller than 6’ 2” you need to be a physical specimen who crushes people and plays a grinding physical game. Or another common phrase “uses his body”. there are many players that could be listed who are not “physical” at all who have had long NHL careers, and are over 6’ 2”. The very first one that comes to my mind… Tyler Myers. He is still playing in the league, and yet he’s really not physical at all. Not for what some people expect a 6’ 7” player to be. And one can list players that are no taller than 6’ who are “physical” as all hell, and good at it. Like I said it’s an antiquated mindset. A height of a player no longer determines the level of their “physical” game. Or the expected level of “physical” play. Especially for today’s NHL.

They actually made Ullmark look passable as a starting NHL goalie.

And a few are scum bags….
-
Ok, so is RJ calling this game? Earlier someone said no, he’s just along for the road trip. But I’m hearing he IS calling the game.
-
Bruins fans suck balls Bruins fans are so classless Go to hell Bruins 😬
-
Some people are confused… Because I am reading and hearing that RJ will call tonight‘s game. And I don’t mean confused here… I mean confused with what I’m reading and hearing elsewhere 😂
-
Well the fact that I could not possibly care less about the NFL draft… I’ll be only watching the Sabres game. I don’t know why that wasn’t a choice 🤔

• The team's performance this season has guaranteed an improvement in points percentage of at least .115, regardless of the outcome of the two remaining games. • It marks the eighth time in franchise history and first time since 2015-16 (.165) that the team has improved its year-over-year points percentage by at least .10. • If the Sabres were to win their last two games, they would finish with the fifth-best year-over-year points percentage improvement in franchise history. • Buffalo has scored 226 goals this season, marking its highest output since the team scored 240 goals during the 2010-11 campaign. • Buffalo enters tonight's game with four consecutive wins in the same season for the first time since the team won 10 games in a row from Nov. 8 to 27, 2018. • The Sabres are 15-8-3 since March 2 and rank 11th in the NHL with a .635 points percentage during that span.
