“I hope he bulks up” has got to be the most overused comment when talking about prospects. And 9 out of 10 prospects “bulk up” over the course of 2-3 seasons. For me it’s like what’s the point, why even say that… Because most likely it’s going to happen anyway. That’s just me …

The thing is … I’ll go out on a limb and say he’ll never reach 82 points in a season. Between injuries, line chemistry, coaching, and slumps …. Eichel will never get to 82 points in a season.

There is definitely a section of the fan base that think a players height of over 6’ 3” means they can and will play a “tougher” game. No doubt. It’s just an ignorant mindset IMO. I think we all see the “oh he’s 6’4”? And he plays D? Oh god I hope the Sabres get him. He can clear the front of the net and add grit” comments.

I would use a much stronger word than silly… But sure let’s go with silly 😂 If the goaltending holds up… Colorado may go all the way. No matter what “tougher“ team they run into.
