Agree. I’m definitely one of them that is on the NO train as well. I couldn’t care less that his mommy squirted him out in WNY. And I certainly don’t want to give up any assets for Kane. Again, cons outweigh the pros, IMO.

Oh I don’t think so. If they had, let’s say Craig Anderson going into the playoffs … they would have been eliminated in the 1st round. Their goaltending duo, although not top notch, is a nice solid duo. Enough to get the job done obviously.

See, I honestly did not start this thread to counter anybody’s complaining about a particular GM not doing anything. I honestly started this thread to just give an honest factual list of the things he has done in regards to transactions to/for the team/organization. Where it’s all in one location where we all can review it from time to time to see the activity or lack thereof of the current Sabres GM during his entire tenure. Many seem to like it.

Not at all. Since retiring, He has never done JUST Sabres centric media stuff.

IF Fleury only cared about money and NOT if he can win another cup, and KA knew this … and IF Fleury was open to the idea, KA could throw 2 years at 8-9 mil per at him. it would not affect Signing any young gun for the 22-23 season AND the 23-24 season. Fleury would be a terrific mentor, veteran and leader for all the younger guys and the team overall. YES it’s a lot of “if’s” but throwing a bunch of stupid money at a quality vet who can lead on and off the ice for the next two years will be ok as far as KA and the cap are concerned. At least that’s how I see it.

Everyone has a different definition or idea of what “smoke show” means/is.
