One of the major major contributing factors, was talent. Especially so in net. A healthy Anderson would have won the Sabres maybe maybe two more games. Maybe three. And that’s being generous. The net was Swiss cheese most (keyword) games no matter who was in net With Anderson and Comrie, IF IF IF they both stay healthy, the goaltending isn’t Swiss cheese. It’s Havarti. Even with developing young guns. At least that’s how I see it.

Continued small steps forward in development of youth, success on the ice, and butts in the seats … KA and DG stay on to continue the ride. Two seasons in a row of the opposite, and Pegulas probably pull the plug either that summer or shortly into the 3rd season if it trends in the same direction. I don’t think Pegulas care how nice they are or how well they get along if the team is terrible and the arena is half or more empty.

Agree to disagree. Not about Hasek being awesome. About only needing ONE player on a TEAM to “get you to the playoffs”. Or to use your words “deep into the playoffs”. It’s ok, we just view it differently. and since the thread is about Levi … He could be a contributing factor to having success in a season and in the playoffs. I certainly hope he continues to develop well in the coming years. But on a team sport… He won’t be THE sole reason why they do well in a season and/or playoffs. Just the way I see it.

I don’t think Granato or Adams view any line as a certain number. 4th line, 3rd line etc … I think that’s a concept that certain fans want to grasp onto and cling to.

Not only is it a personal wish, but I also truly believe KA wants no part of Kadri on the Sabres in its current form.

Since it’s a team sport, no one player will get a team to “the promise land” but Levi certainly could (keyword) be a factor if he continues to develop well.

Part of the problem I see from my 35,000 ft. view is one poster cares what another poster thinks or feels about a topic and or the poster himself. Stop caring. Problem solved.
