The thing is …. Most of the guys on this team are already “vets”. Is Anderson a vet? Yes. Is Dahlin? Yes. Is Comrie? Yes. Is Tuch? Yes. Is Okposo? Yes. Is Skinner? Yes. In fact very few aren’t vets on this team. But but but …. We want like different vets. Shiny new toy vets. Overpriced older vets. 😂

Agree. And yet certain Sabres fans will be butthurt over him signing with someone else. Just like they were with Peterson. “His” best interest doesn’t always line up with the teams plans for him. Life goes on.

If the Anderson Tokarski tandem was a D+, I think the Anderson Comrie tandem will be a C. I didn’t want Anderson back at all, but it is what it is and that’s what they’re going with.

The teams who make the playoffs every year are technically cup contenders. So yea, I can see the Sabres getting into the playoffs in two years.

Olofsson has developed into a good NHLer. Drafted 8 years ago. Asplund developing into a good NHLer. Drafted 6 years ago. Middelstadt is developing into a good NHLer. Drafted 5 years ago. Dahlin is developing into a very good NHLer. Drafted 4 years ago. Most players take time to develop. Years. Our draft picks are no different.

I made a thread a couple weeks ago about the worst contracts in the NHL for 2022. I have a feeling this contract will make the list in about 2 to 3 years.

Sometimes it takes several days and sometimes weeks for teams to clear up cap space. In a smart and effective way. It’ll happen… I’m not impatient for it to happen. Because I know it will. At some point before October.

IMO there is a nice size gap in talent and ability between a “#6, #7, and a #8 Dman on the depth chart.

@ddaryl and @JustOneParade … after reading your comments and looking at multiple sites regarding good blue chip stocks, I decided to buy 3 shares of ABBV tonight. It’s down from a peak of $173 a few months ago so I said meh what the hell at $140 a share. Hopefully it’s a good investment and I will buy more if it goes lower. I go thru TD Ameritrade to buy my stocks. I’m very new and quite ignorant to this world of savvy stock buying but I’m trying. I also have a few shares of DIS, AAPL, and AZN. Just getting my feet wet with this stuff. Thanks for your knowledge.

Which one is true? Ullmark didn’t want to stay a Buffalo Sabre. No matter what realistic and fair contract KA offered, Ullmark did not want to be a Sabre any longer. KA screwed up. He could have kept Ullmark if only he offered Ullmark more. Arguably an unrealistic bloated contract in comparison to what Ullmark has shown to be to that point. Ullmark would have stayed.

Are there seriously guys who give a flying F what the F other guys wear? And then based on the guys income, care to another level? I mean really? God I’m glad I’m not hung up on what Terry wears/doesn’t wear.
