It’s the fault of no one but yourself, if you believe the media driven hype of a player. Year after year. Player after player. There are a lot of fans who eat that stuff up and believe it as gospel and therefore have bloated expectations. Then get mad and upset when those elevated expectations aren’t met. When there is only oneself to blame for believing it in the first place. All from the hockey media at large.

Rhea also mentioned in a podcast recently that the show got picked up for a second season.

Hope he develops to the point where he makes the big club in 2-4 years. If not, al least be a solid contributor in Roch. for many years.

That fact has been stated multiple times by multiple posters, myself included in the past 2 years at least. When discussing the cap. 😂

I frankly couldn’t care less what Yost says … I think the duo of Anderson and Comrie are among the 5 worst in the NHL as of today going into next season. I won’t be dramatic and say the absolute worst. But they have to be among the bottom 5. And I’m being generous.

“Better Call Saul” ended Monday night with an ending very different than the way that “Breaking Bad” concluded. No shootout, just Jimmy McGill behind bars. But as Jimmy and ex-wife Kim Wexler reconnect, in many ways it’s also a much more hopeful conclusion. But can we go as far as to call it a “happy ending?” “I think it is,” star Bob Odenkirk tells Variety’s Awards Circuit podcast, in a bonus edition recorded Tuesday morning — just hours after the finale aired. “It’s crazy, because he’s going to jail for the rest of his life. But I absolutely consider it the best end he could have had. Because he’s at peace with himself. And he’s got her. He’s earned her love. And he knows that even though they can’t be together. He proved himself to the one person who he cared about.” Rhea Seehorn, who joined Odenkirk for the podcast, agrees: “I mean, happy is hard to wrap your head around. But I find it hopeful and I do find it to be a positive. I do think it’s like, there is light there. And I agree with Bob, it’s about living without the burden that they both have had hanging over them their whole lives, trying to outrun what people think of them. Certainly Jimmy more than Kim, but we know Kim didn’t come from a safe, positive upbringing either. I found it to be a positive ending. And the happiest that you could be for those people.” Odenkirk and Seehorn break down the finale, including Odenkirk’s courtroom scene (which took three days to shoot), the return of “Breaking Bad” stars Betsy Brandt and Bryan Cranston, Saul’s decision to turn back into Jimmy for Kim’s benefit, and the final scene between Jimmy and Kim. With him being given the C … it’s all but guaranteed he won’t be re-signed. This is the way. -

Rochester Americans Have Addressed A Racist Incident

I agree with most if not all of what you say here …. Oh how I would love to give you my opinion on why it is the way it is …. But it’s not worth it here or on a sports forum. And I’m sure your opinions would mirror most of mine regarding this topic. With your limitations I’m sure you are doing a good job with todays youth. 👍🏼 -
Enjoy that season Jack. Sounds like you’ll fit right in. 😂

I finished Binging on Alone. Now finishing up Better Call Saul, and What We Do In The Shadows. In the next week or so. Next up… Binging Stranger Things, Alone: Frozen, American Horror Story, and Narcos. That should take me to Walking Dead finale and the NHL season. -

I view Krebs as developing and having Reinharts vision, anticipation and passing ability. It’s just what I remember when watching him last season. He’s not as good yet… But in a year or two I think he will be close. -
afaik initialism Alternative spelling of AFAIK. As far as I know And For All I Know ^ and yes, I had to look that up too 😂

When Rigas was sentenced. Scum bag. When Sabretooth used to repel from the rafters. When Golisano bought the team. When Knox brothers did what they did in the late 60’s to secure a team in Buffalo. Going to any game with my uncle and sneaking in a back entrance to go stand in the standing room area at the Aud. … good times good times

4 years 1. SB 3M + 1.0 salary 2. SB 3M + 1.5 salary 3. SB 3M + 2.0 salary 4. SB 1M + 4.5 salary Cap hit 4.75 per Cozens gets the financial security with the signing bonus of 10M over four years. Sabres get the security of not overpaying in term for a player who may or may not become a “high end” player. Worry about what happens after the 4th year when in comes. It will take care of itself if Cozens makes or breaks. Just a thought
