The first couple years Dahlin was in the league… he didn’t have a whole lot of fire, or physicality. Then like a lightbulb went off… That stuff came to the forefront this past season. thanks in part to Granato. Who knows… Power may have A similar trajectory. He may find that his size and smarts can really get the best of a lot of players in the league.

Binged Chernobyl. 5 episode show from 2019. Incredible, horrifying, sad. Now onto Narcos. Into the 2nd season now. Just nuts.

Actually the narrative from the more dramatic posters was, “Dahlin IS ruined”. And sometimes the word “forever” was used. 😂 Never was it clarified with a “while Kruger is coach” or “so far he LOOKS ruined”.

“ permanent” 3rds are 3 years minimum for the NHL. Correct me if I’m wrong. If that’s true… I bet it won’t be any more than 3 years. at that time they’ll dream up some other third jersey so it will be a money maker for the franchise. Pretty much what most NHL clubs do.

I think what he’s saying is something along the lines of … it’s funny to think the Sabres AND Power would consider a short term contract. It’s 7 or 8 years, or it’s nothing. A 3-4 year contract won’t happen with Power.

It’s the fault of no one but yourself, if you believe the media driven hype of a player. Year after year. Player after player. There are a lot of fans who eat that stuff up and believe it as gospel and therefore have bloated expectations. Then get mad and upset when those elevated expectations aren’t met. When there is only oneself to blame for believing it in the first place. All from the hockey media at large.

Agree. In all fairness he does that constantly and doesn’t realize he does it. And then argues that he doesn’t do that.
