He really should just rip off the bandaid already. Just leave the Sabres in their misery and suckitude and just go fully time energy Bruins and Kraken fan. And because this year is not a “ZOMG we must make the playoffs or everyone gets traded and fired” , I’d like to see Krebs work thru the hard times surrounded by NHLers. He knows he’s not playing up to his own expectation of himself. A lot of younger guys feel that pressure. Do we really have to rehash (again) what younger guys on the Sabres alone, are much better today because they (wait for it) developed. Keep Krebs up with the Sabres. Keep working with him. Continue the development. And if he gets sent to the Amerks, so be it, hopefully it’ll help his game. I just don’t believe it’s a “must be done”. At this point, calling him a bust at 21 is IMO, highly ignorant. Just like calling any number of young players, busts.

Just as fast as this thread went up… As soon as Cozens has a bad stretch of about 5-7 games (that’s all it should take), there will be a thread created how much Cozens sucks and how he should be trade bait 😂 i’m glad he is developing, and hope he continues to develop! The workhorse from Whitehorse… I’m rooting for him!

More threads like this instead of the negative Nancy, doom and gloom, everything about the Sabres sucks, nothing will ever get better, past history tells me there is nothing good in the future for this team, all decisions are wrong decisions by the brain trust threads. The age old grass is greener effect. I call shenanigans. There is a phenomenon as crazy as it might sound… Where both teams got good players. And no one “won the draft“. I just find that kind of conversation (at times) intellectually dishonest when someone tries to claim another team won/blew the draft.
