Not a fan. Never will be a fan. for me… He’s the “Steve Shields” of PxP. He’s decent. He’s passable. He’s acceptable. And those are just the nice things I have to say about him As far as his game calling. I’m sure personality wise… He’s a terrific person and quality human being. If RJ was an A+ DD is a C+ just speaking for myself like everyone else is.

Why does it seem like whenever something nice or positive gets posted about the team. It could be really anything. Some form of this always seems to happen 😂

Funny you mentioned this … I just started watching Andor and I’m only 3 episodes in. It’s very good so far. Probably watch more tonight.

TNT’s F/O winning % is 43%. He’s winning way way way more than “a draw or two” a game. That said, I hope he improves to at least 50% if not more.

Sage advice. The old story that applies here is about the old bull and the young bull shaded up and out of the flies on a hill. I am super pumped about Tage’s development. Glad to see him doing so well!! It’s a shame when some fans are impatient or dismissive of a player when they are young and developing. But they don’t change that mindset and just target another young player every season. For me personally, I don’t believe he’ll hit 80 points let alone 100 points this season until he actually achieves it. “On pace” comments does absolutely nothing for me. It never has. Keep it up TNT!

Why do I remember this being a topic of conversation years ago? And I thought it was determined that teams absolutely cannot put in a new fresh goalie for just shoot outs. Unless the goalie was injured in the dying minutes of the OT. Maybe I am remembering it wrong. But I thought there was some kind of rule that prevented goalies from just doing the shoot outs.

Does one want to listen to hockey talk? Or does one want to only listen to Sabres talk? because there is plenty of decent hockey talk through Podcasts and other national radio shows IMO. I know everybody has their preference, and that’s fine, I simply can’t stand to listen to WGR more than an hour a day. At the most. and I think the worst show by far is Schoop and Parker. The Content, the lack of research, the low brow entertainment value. I just find it terrible personally. but again everybody has their preference.

In my opinion… Even with better defense… I think the goaltending is so subpar that on average they would still be giving up three goals a game.

Not to mention …. 4. Their plan or path isn’t your plan or path. Whine/complain about it all you want. Too bad… 5. Plans can change depending on the everchanging info with the roster and staff. Not to mention the record. It’s usually not static. 6. Just because you don’t know what they are doing on an hour to hour basis, doesn’t mean they are doing nothing at all. And because this year is not a “ZOMG we must make the playoffs or everyone gets traded and fired” , I’d like to see Krebs work thru the hard times surrounded by NHLers. He knows he’s not playing up to his own expectation of himself. A lot of younger guys feel that pressure. Do we really have to rehash (again) what younger guys on the Sabres alone, are much better today because they (wait for it) developed. Keep Krebs up with the Sabres. Keep working with him. Continue the development. And if he gets sent to the Amerks, so be it, hopefully it’ll help his game. I just don’t believe it’s a “must be done”. At this point, calling him a bust at 21 is IMO, highly ignorant. Just like calling any number of young players, busts.

Just as fast as this thread went up… As soon as Cozens has a bad stretch of about 5-7 games (that’s all it should take), there will be a thread created how much Cozens sucks and how he should be trade bait 😂 i’m glad he is developing, and hope he continues to develop! The workhorse from Whitehorse… I’m rooting for him!

More threads like this instead of the negative Nancy, doom and gloom, everything about the Sabres sucks, nothing will ever get better, past history tells me there is nothing good in the future for this team, all decisions are wrong decisions by the brain trust threads. Is a step in the right direction. A step. 👍🏼 Seeing bright spots in the wins is easy. Can you see bright spots in the losses too? 🤔
