For better or for worse… The NHL is nowhere near and will never be a hint of what it was back then. The days when you memorized the numbers and not the names on the jerseys. Well they still skate around on ice skates… So I guess it’s sort of close. 😂

For me, I wouldn’t have given Ullmark anything longer than 4 years. And no higher than 4 mil per. I just wasn’t confident in his abilities.

Speaking for myself only. Keeping it pithy on purpose. Keeping in mind the developing young guys. Keeping in mind the developing prospects who haven’t made the team yet. What do we have? We have almost a complete talented roster. What do we need? Better goaltending. And another top 4 Dman.

It would surprise me to learn that who started it was not the scum bag fan supporting the scum bag team.

Can you please name all the “policemen” that are regular roster players on each team? Hell, how about 1/3 of the teams.

And why not! They made it big. One much bigger than the other but both made it. Heck, I’m proud of Herman J. Hollerith, Seth Wheeler, and Wilson Greatbatch.

The board seems to be split on this. Is General Manager Kevyn Adams doing anything to help the Buffalo Sabres so far this season?

With all the hires and filling out of the staff, I think the front office is more stable than it’s been in 10 years. And I bet the league (who also changes staff often) sees it the same way. We just see that aspect differently.

Not stable? Where do you see/think the front office isn’t stable? Or the rest of the league sees the front office as being not stable?

It stings to lose back to back to the Pens. UPL held them in it for awhile there after a poor 1st period. I thought JJ and Tuch had a strong game. The penalties just kill this team lately.

Yep. Scum bag is a very talented goal scorer. But every thing else about him I hate. Just a tool. Would hate him on the Sabres. Would hate someone just like him on the Sabres too. You are not alone. 👍🏼
