Is “pro hockey rumors” even a legit well regarded hockey news source? Or another in a long line of rumor sites that Buffalonill likes to follow and post the garbage as “real rumor news” here?

Some people like / enjoy the “I’m gonna be kind of prick to the interviewee” style of “journalism”. The Jerry Sullivan, Mike Harrington abrasive jerk store stuff. I personally don’t. It comes off immature, amateurish, and a dick. It’s not nice. It’s not professional. It’s certainly not respectful.

Saying the last part… Would be an insult believe it or not to UPL and Comrie. There is no NEED to throw those two guys under the bus with that kind of statement. It just would. I am so glad he did not say something like that. After Levi’s first game, he earned the right to play a second game, then he earned the right to play a third game, then he earned the right to play a forth game …and so on. At least that’s how I see it. maybe that chatbot thing @Flashsabre mentioned would be right up your alley 😂

I’d be surprised if Dahlin receives more than 10 mil per. And Power receives more than 8 mil per. Both 7 or 8 year deals. As far as Mitts I would be surprised if KA signs him earlier than next summer. I think he wants to see if Mitts has a second good season before committing or trading. A risk, but a risk KA would be willing to do. All things considered.

Who still thinks that what is said or not said at press conferences is 100% of what is said and not said behind closed doors? Who still thinks that what is fed to the media is exactly what is said and not said behind closed doors?

Very few GM’s of any sports organization throw players or agents or coaches under the bus in public. Or say anything even semi-disparaging. The most “damning thing“ he said regarding Johnson was they are “waiting now“. That’s fine as far as I’m concerned he doesn’t need to say anything more regarding Johnson and their talks. Obviously he thinks highly of Johnson otherwise he wouldn’t be talking to his agent to sign him/finding out where they are at.

Meh … I thought the first five minutes of DG’s Press conference pretty much answered the whole playoffs scenario for next season.

I like John Warrow. I do. But why does it seem like his questions are a gigantic word salad. And it seems like most of them are that way. I am certainly not telling him how to do his job. He knows how to do it better than I ever would. But I would think just a one or two sentence statement that ends in question mark would be better for not only him, but the fans, The rest of the media there, and the person he’s asking the question to. That’s just the way I see it but, maybe I’m wrong.

So glad the Leafs lost tonight. It was delicious.

I disagree about the radio silence. All season long people have been busting on him. On Multiple hockey forums and multiple social media places. and he didn’t guide anything… It was a team effort. At least that’s the way I see it. agree to disagree.

I like mixing grape nuts with a Kashi cereal. Good clean and healthy. It’s amazing the carcinogenic additives the FDA “allows” in cereals and foods in general. Scary. FDA sucks.

You are right about one thing… It is dependent on how you look at things. Some fans will never look at the positive side of transactions and acquisitions, and take into account everything that it took leading up to those transactions and acquisitions. They will just keep looking at the holes that are still on a team in a particular snapshot in time, and think that nothing has been done, and perhaps nothing will be done. I however don’t see any posters (on here at least) that ignore any criticism of the team or franchise. Everybody has a bee in their bonnet about something related to the team or franchise. I still hate the single escalators to this day on each side of the concourse. 😬

I’d like to see him develop into a solid face off specialist / PK specialist / straw that stirs drink on any line he’s on. He’s already a terrific passer and sees the ice very well.

No matter what is said… 1. It won’t be good enough 2. It will lack the right info 3. It will lack questions they “should” have asked 4. Skinner should have been asked to ask a few questions between two stalls 😂
