Columbia Research Paper Looks at Fighting/PIM and Mortality Rates
Zamboni replied to That Aud Smell's topic in The Aud Club
Need vs. Want Let’s not get the two confused -
Thank the hockey gods for that. Eichel was a non factor again this game. Then again most of Vegas was a non factor.
-
Oilers are looking good this game.
-
I’d take Reinhart back in a heartbeat. 6th goal in the playoffs tonight. Sucks Florida couldn’t put it away tonight. Oilers had a great first period.
-
Omg this is great we need one for Toronto, Boston, Philly. Hell we need one for all the teams 😂

Well because you asked, and because it makes sense to close it… It’ll stay open for another few days 😂

Yes and to take it a step further… If one’s tipping point of whether or not you want someone to be the captain is if whether or not they drop the gloves once in a blue moon in the NHL 2023 … That’s pretty sad in my opinion. Fighting should be the absolute last thing that should tip the scales of whether or not you want someone to be the captain of your hockey team in 2023+. Grit, sandpaper, feistiness, physicality, or whatever cute word one wants to use to describe a player who “gets in the face” of the opposition. I can see that being useful and effective. But fighting in todays NHL is rather useless more or less. Fighting in the NHL in the 60s 70s and 80s, is a completely different mindset. Tuch fighting at an exhibition game doesn’t move the needle at all.

I think he can and could. Those young guns won’t be young forever. Soon enough they will be “grizzled vets”.
-
You may not think DG is good at developing young talent. But don’t say “we” don’t really know if he’s a “development guy”. I would bet the majority of fans view him as a coach who is good at developing young talent to get better, and tap into their full potential most of the time. I could be wrong, but that’s how I see it.

Take comfort in KNOWING he’ll never win a cup. The hockey gods have spoken.
-
I watched one of his videos a couple of years ago… And I vowed to never watch his videos again. It’s a complete waste of my time. and I waste enough of my time with other things. obviously he must do well with his videos because enough people watch him, for him to continue the stupidity.

Reinhart clutch

I think Gallant will be offered a HC position somewhere in the next 2 months or less. So IMO, no, he wouldn’t accept an assistant position on any team at this time.

IMO …. No he’s exactly where he plays best. As an AHL goalie. -

Good for Pilut. nice win boys -
Eichel has been invisible. Then again, so has most of the team. Oilers have just dominated.

Well, I have Insomnia once in awhile. If you really want to take the time to read why it happens, there are a number of solutions. One thing is to get bloodwork/testing done to try to uncover if any values are low or high. researching it will uncover all the bloodwork and testing you can get done. Jumping to a pill or a suppliment or a certain weed is premature IMO. At least that’s what I did. Everyone is different.

All oilers McDavid with a shorty sick
-
Nice job McNabb ya idiot. LD cashes in. Nice.
-
Does Gallant still have some mileage on him to land with another NHL team as a head coach? I think he does.
-
Agree. Not comparable

This topic is about as fresh as posting giraffe GIFs in reference to TNT and pretty much just as tired 😂 hard pass
