Let me correct you on one thing… It doesn’t top my list as far as most important if that’s what you’re implying. and all I was thinking of is some thing that can be mass produced, on the cheap. they already have Salsarita‘s in there… But that’s not a local company. if you think ETS can do mass production for the arena… Than I am all for it. It has nothing to do with any of those companies ranking anywhere outside the region. It has everything to do with local businesses producing local food for the arena. That was the only reason why I threw mighty taco in there because I thought that they could probably be up to the challenge of supplying arena quantities.

Yes the Hopkins location is legit too along with Bailey. I’ve rarely heard a complaint regarding the quality. And I get it from Hopkins around 6-8 times a year. Always good.

It’s horrific at the Arena. I tried it once last season. They should be ashamed of themselves. You or I could do a better job at taste and texture with making pizza than what they pass off as LaNova pizza. Just brutal.

There are enough local food businesses that can populate the concession areas without difficulty. Mighty Taco Schwabl’s Anderson’s Bocce or LaNova (the real stuff) Tim Horton’s or Spot Anchor Bar, Duffs, or Bar Bill Chef’s Any number of local breweries Paula’s Sahlems etc, etc, etc

Karmanos won’t be picked. He’ll be back with the Sabres next season.

Fun fact. Rob Ray did not want to be a fighter or goon when he reached the NHL. But because his lack of “skill” compared to his peers, he found a way to get a call up to the Sabres and stick. So he did not by nature have that mentality or view on life when he was drafted by the Sabres. Once he made the Amerks, that’s how he found his niche and a way to stay a pro hockey player and eventually get called up by the Sabres. I’m sure he’s not the only example of someone who did not want to fight, but there was no other way to stay a pro hockey player.

I would even push it to every other year unless a goalie slips in the draft that is too good to pass up in the “off year”. Maybe it’s just me, but I think the draft a goalie every year no matter what mindset, is slight overkill.
