He is a 3.1 M cap hit for the 23-24 season. opinion… He plays a physical style, he’s not getting any younger, and he’s missed a good chunk of games with injuries, and in my opinion the length of injuries will just get longer the older he gets. I would pass on him. if he was two or three years younger, he would be an attractive piece to obtain. If he would even want to come back to Buffalo.

Wasn’t there an article or a study or some thing done not that long ago that broke down every state and how much of your own money you actually keep? And it looked at all the different state, local and federal taxes and various costs of things like homes etc.? I can’t seem to find the study/article right now. But it was enlightening.

One thing I DO KNOW, is if you call and demand to speak to a “retention specialist” at Spectrum, they can sometimes get you a lower rate. My wife complained to a retention specialist a couple months ago, and she got it lowered (for 12 months), from $140/month to $115/month. It’s not a guaranteed solution, but it’s worth the call. And if you don’t get a reduction, call back in 2-3 weeks and try again. 👍🏼

Booing Eichel in Buffalo is definitely definitely not “moving on” 😂 that’s like saying “I moved on from my ex-wife/GF”. Yet every time that you hear about her or see her… You go out of your way to make disparaging remarks about her, or make her life a little more difficult in some small way. Dude you haven’t moved on at all. So no, there will be a good section of Sabres fans who will never “move on”.

If you look at where the league was when Bettman took over… Versus what it is now… it’s quite incredible. yes he does missteps from time to time. You could even say some poor decisions. You Being out of the Buffalo area, out of the 4-5 preseason games, the 82 regular season games, and all the playoff games … how many Sabres games and playoffs are you able to watch? And how many are Buffalo broadcast crew? Dunleavy etc. And on top of the streaming services, what do you pay a month for the internet?
