  1. Yes, we may try there. I went there once. There was a huge line so I turned around lol. Maybe going early will be better today. Hopefully.
  2. No it wasnt condescension. It’s ok to disagree. No need to attack when people have different preferences or opinions. And not just 70 year olds eat dinner between 5-6ish. Your circle of friends/family may eat late into the night. That’s cool and it works for you. My circle usually doesn’t. Again, that’s cool. And I originally expressed my opinion on a 5:00 game. You wanted to understand. I tried explaining. You could have just said “ok, thanks for explaining”. Why the attack? You asked to know why I thought that way.
  3. Point it out. Please. I didn’t think I was. Just offering my opinions that you may disagree with doesn’t mean I’ve not been considerate.
  4. Yikes that went south ... relax.
  5. You don’t have to understand. It’s ok if we disagree. Part of it, yes, it is the dinner time thing. I’d rather eat healthy AND eat between 5-6pm. Just my preference. Again, agree to disagree. Today my wife and I are going down early to the arena, walk around the 100 and or 300 levels and try to find something, anything that isn’t fried, greasy, oily, highly caloric, artery hardening, and overall bad for you. Eat earlier then we’d prefer and overpay for the pleasure. Sure, it’s only one game. Sure we can deal with it. Sure it’s not the end of the world. Never said it was. It’s an opinion I have. I don’t care for 5:00 games. Rather have a 1:00 or 3:00 game. No amount of debate will change what I prefer. if I was staying at home .... sure, 5:00 is fine. We can eat while watching the game. No big deal. Again, agree to disagree.
  6. Well, considering no one on this board knows what he’s thinking... it’s all a guessing game right now by everyone. Right? And if you take JBs public media comments as “proof” of what he’s truly thinking, then that’s on you. I don’t believe what he says to the media and what he thinks privately are the same thing. GMs rarely show their hand to the public at large. Especially on big decisions. until it doesn’t happen, my personal opinion is that he will be fired before the playoffs begin. I’m certain it will happen. JB ... prove me wrong. And I’ll own being wrong.
  7. If you’re the kind of parent that doesn’t mind exposing their kids to swearing drunken fights possible nudity broken bottles general rudeness and arrests… Then yeah go for it ... Haha Quite frankly a three and five-year-old probably prefer a nice Shamrock shake from McDonald’s instead… At least my kid did back in the day.
  8. Going to this barn burner. 5:00 is such a stupid time to have a game. I can see 3:00. But 5:00 is just clown shoes. 4-1 loss. ROR has a 3 point night.
  9. I think he’ll be fired before the 1st round of the playoffs begin.
  10. Do you think he won’t? Really? Because I’m 100% convinced he will. So to entertain a “what if he isn’t fired” scenario is foreign to me. Does not compute.
  11. T - minus 11 ....
  12. After the Canes scored the second goal ... I knew what that probably meant... I was like ....
  13. Crush the candy canes!!!
  14. Doubtful. He’s streaky. Always have been. Plus if he’s not on a line with an exceptional center, his stats take a dive. But then again, that’s true for most players haha.
  15. A player in his prime multi season thirty goal scorer about to sign a big contract in 2019 will easily get more than 7.5 a year. In 2017 or before, probably not. But now, that’s what they go for. Skinner will get from some team max or near max term. He just will. It’s in his best interest to demand and get that. And some team will sign him for more than 7.5. I would be shocked if he agreed to anything below 8.0. Like it or hate it, salaries are going up and up and up.
  16. By stitching little oil fracking machines in the back rests.
  17. Ran out of the more expensive dark fabric after they did the center section. Saved a boatload by going lighter. ?
  18. Bland canned answers are never good. let me predict ... didn’t execute blah blah blah relying too much on goaltending blah blah blah didn’t shoot enough blah blah blah same ol garbage spewing out of his pie hole ... yawn
  19. Up and down the lineup, there’s plenty of talent. Of course there’s always room to improve. But the most glaring hole is the system and coaching staff. It’s just so inept at effective, smart in-game adjustments. Imagine if we had the system and coaching of San Jose or Winnipeg. Housley and staff are so much worse.
  20. I wasn’t even aware he was married now. Knowing he was a bachelor while in Buffalo. sad story
  21. I’m loyal to Bocce’s. Always have. I like it way better than LaNova and other “popular” local spots.
  22. Lord Stanley ... naturally.
  23. Yes. What Housley and JB are doing isn’t tanking. It’s poor decisions. Big difference. Too many fans are mixing any kind of losing or poor GMing or poor coaching with “tanking”. I know it won’t stop some from using that cute tanking trigger word, but it just isn’t true tanking. Good grief....
  24. Considering this team hasn’t actively tanked in years, and isn’t this year, that’s easy. But winning... well ... that’s a different animal altogether... Too much firepower on the Pens ... 4-1 loss. Bogosian, Skinner or Okposo with the lone goal.
