Um no. No matter what cute little rumors that are out there. It also wouldn’t surprise me if he was traded. If he is, I hope JB gets fair or good value in return.
-
Yes every team picks one. So, among his teammates, he was chosen over 23 other guys. Eichel is 1 of 31 out of roughly 713 NHLers. To downplay it like it’s no big deal is clown shoes. ask the beneficiaries of any players charity if it’s “no big deal”. Then go back to the kiddie table (not you JJ) and let the adults appreciate a players charity.

Yea!! A semi straight answer. Even if it’s a little snarky. So it’s not just people who spellcheck like 12 year olds. Moving on ...
-
Huh? I asked if it was an inside joke. Buddy
-
Show me a reputable publication or writer that says Toronto Maple Leaves. Please.

So is it an inside joke that I’m not aware of? It’s Leafs not Leaves. Toronto Maple Leafs. And it’s Matthews not Mathews. got it Saber fans?!?! ?

OFFICIAL:Sabres Sign 3 year ELC with Artuu Ruotsalainen

Small fry. He just may top out as a very good AHLer with some cups of coffee in the NHL due to injuries and “good job” rewards. But anything else is bonus! IF he even signs... -
I don’t have an opinion on Tage one way or the other… i’ll be patient with him. But I do know this… A lot of fans thought Rinehart was going to be a bust two or three years ago. A lot! And today some may even think he is a bust, but it’s a hell of a lot less than what it was two or theee years ago. Those negative Nancy’s look like fools (to me anyway). Time and development, development and time. For some players it takes longer, and for some players it doesn’t. And for some they simply don’t have the talent to take the next step. And no, don’t try to reach for low hanging fruit by thinking I mean Tage will be as good as Reinhart or better. I’m glad some have that awesome crystal ball and can make such a great definitive declaration as to being so sure that a young player is already a bust. Bloody hell.

Agree to disagree

I don’t miss Kane’s “low IQ” decisions that hurt the team. Ugh ....
-
Unload as in??? Tank? No. Unload as in removing 5-6 pieces and trying to get different chemistry there? Yep. Same with most teams who don’t make the playoffs or get bounced out of the 1st round.

Huh? fact ... he was “feisty” in Buffalo. fact ... he is “feisty” in NY. his feistiness is him. That’s the kind of competitor he is. It’s not all alcohol induced. That’s what the convo was with inkman. Not about what Lehner has said or what Berglund is or isn’t doing. If you followed along from his first post, maybe you’ll see what I was getting at. I hope I made it clear now.
-
So from what I read ... the fact that Lehner was fiesty while on the Sabres, was because he was drunk or hungover. The only reason. yet, (safe assumption he’s no longer like that) tonight he showed his feistiness. So your original shot at Lehner for being fiesty (being connected only to his addiction/issues) was rather wrong and kinda immature. Don’t ya think?
-
Woooooo hooooooooooo CBJ just punched their ticket to the 2nd round
-
So are you sh***ing on Lehner for having a drinking problem when he was with the Sabres? One in which he by all accounts have overcome the demons and is playing like a “1st round spent on him” goalie? Or are you blaming TM for spending a 1st on him? Which isn’t Lehners fault. Grudges are a hell of a thing ...
-
Lehner losing his cool ... memories ......
-
Torts is doing an amazing job with time and line management.

Anyone? Um no...

If fans could fire an owner, would you fire Terry?

I know you don’t mean it to sound like investing/buying multiple regional sports teams isn’t good enough for someone to say the Pegulas haven’t invested in the region. Because that would be ignorant if that was the case. Here is something ... https://www.bizjournals.com/buffalo/news/2019/01/25/pegulas-make-big-investment-in-rand-capital.html Same info. Different link ... https://www.bizjournals.com/buffalo/news/2019/01/25/pegulas-make-big-investment-in-rand-capital.html And there it definitive evidence that if an area starts to improve (like the harborcenter, canalside and medical corridor) then other companies and entrepreneurs start taking risks and open business in that area too. It’s a snowball effect. Happens throughout the world everyday. Pegulas are instrumental( but not exclusively) in directly creating that snowball effect in pockets in downtown Buffalo. The negative Nancy’s can crap on the Pegulas like immature children all they want. It doesn’t change the fact that they have done and continue to do plenty for the region, beyond “owning a few sports teams”. That’s not to say they can always do better or more. If they want to. -
