Huh? I don’t know what you mean by that. Care to be more clear or rephrase? Allow me to clarify what I meant by that other post ... I can understand if some people don’t care for the national anthem being sung at sporting events. Fine. I can understand if some people although I think it’s the vast vast minority, don’t want military people honored at sporting events. Frankly I find that stance a little offensive, because I think all military people should be thanked and honored as much is possible. But I can at least understand and not have an issue if that honoring and thanking went away at sporting events. What I take a great offense to, are individuals who think any nations anthems suck. Because then the obvious extension, is the nation itself sucks. And if somebody’s going to say that the national anthem sucks, then I’m going to verbalize now offended that makes me. If this board is truly looking out for everyone’s interest, then there should be no topics that can get political in nature because it always ends in roughly 50% of the posters being offended or upset. If the comment about the US national anthem sucking was instantly modded out (Because it could offend someone, and be taken as political speech) then no one would take offense to the pushback that could cause. back to playoff talk in this playoff thread ... I hope Boston and Calgary win tonight

If the CEO of a car company has a masters in business and finance. And doesn’t know gear ratios, struts, and how to interpret crash test results, then he/she needs to stay the F away from telling the experts in those areas how to do their job and influencing their decisions in such matters. Owners (unless they are very knowledgeable about what makes a great coach) should stay the F away from influencing who coaches a team. Why is that logic flawed? What logical, well thought out reason is there that says Pegula must have a say? Not “feelings” or “the right to” or “but but but he owns the team/writes the checks”

I don’t have an opinion on Tage one way or the other… i’ll be patient with him. But I do know this… A lot of fans thought Rinehart was going to be a bust two or three years ago. A lot! And today some may even think he is a bust, but it’s a hell of a lot less than what it was two or theee years ago. Those negative Nancy’s look like fools (to me anyway). Time and development, development and time. For some players it takes longer, and for some players it doesn’t. And for some they simply don’t have the talent to take the next step. And no, don’t try to reach for low hanging fruit by thinking I mean Tage will be as good as Reinhart or better. I’m glad some have that awesome crystal ball and can make such a great definitive declaration as to being so sure that a young player is already a bust. Bloody hell.
