What I mean by that is ... a lot of Avs fans don’t like him like he’s some very good Dman. Those that watch the team 82+ games a year I think have a better grasp on the roster than those that don’t. It’s not at all about fans “say dumb things” and dismissing all of them outright.
If you get a chance to watch 15-20 Avs games you’ll quickly see he doesn’t make smart decisions and takes dumb penalties rather often. It’s gets old and tiring quickly. And he doesn’t contribute offensively very much. He’s a dime a dozen bottom paring Dman who likes to take the body. Yes, we all like his snarl and the Sabres could always use that. That’s kinda the beginning and ending of Zadorov. I’m personally glad he was traded away.
to each his/her own ...
Talk to Avs fans.... he makes soooo many low IQ plays and penalties plus he plays almost exclusively on the bottom paring. If you can live with that, sure he plays with a snarl and that’s nice to have.
Frankly I don’t care what it means for the Sabres... I don’t want Dallas to win. Period.
Plus, regardless how some feel about ROR, I’ve liked him from the moment he was drafted. I still do. So I’m rooting for him.

For those that may not know this ...
I’ll try to find something. But in the meantime ... i guess I just pay attention to goalies in different leagues. Not just the NHL. And I read/hear about 3-4 goalies a year going thru various hip surgeries. Especially in the off seasons. Especially butterfly goalies. It’s not that uncommon or alarming.
Exactly. Not only that, but he’s young so he’ll most likely recover and heal wonderfully. A lot of goalies go thru this. Nothing alarming with this news.
He is most likely slated to be the Amerks backup next season. So he’ll be ready to sit on the bench for most games in October.
The truth is somewhere between “ZOMG everything/everyone in the organization sucks”, and “this organization is just fine, we’re getting there”.
So pay no attention to those extreme hot takes. ??
And that would be the smart logical way to think ??
In addition, he doesn’t just visit them. He often goes much further. That’s something not many athletes take extra time to do.
