  1. Nope. I’m the same way. Although I’m more of a Sabres hat guy. Not really a Sabres jersey guy.
  2. So that’s why we never heard of the debauchery of Biron, Drury or LaFontaine. ? Seriously, I have heard a few bad stories of ex-players from around the league that never made it to light. So not surprised this is a needed thing for all teams. And I’m sure it’s all sports and not just pro sports.
  3. I think we’ll know exactly what VO will become long term, once he plays in the NHL for a full season. Even though he’s not a “younger” prospect, that doesn’t mean he’s done developing and learning once he’s full time on an NHL team. The talent is there. I’m curious to see what he’ll look like in April, and contrast that with October.
  4. No one is a defensive dynamo there. No one better be caught flat footed. Who would be on the back end with Dahlin?
  5. Since when does going to the AHL = picking up bad habits. Like it’s a foregone conclusion. Doesn’t matter the player… It’ll just ... happen. And I for one don’t want to send Mitts down to Rochester. But if he does for developments sake ... so be it.
  6. Brock Nelson would be a nice add. Risto, a 2021 1st, and a mid level prospect like Murray or Dea.
  7. Sorry to read that. I am going through something very similar… I have a 13 Yr, 5 month old English Bulldog. He has advanced congestive heart failure. We have decided to put him down Saturday. We’ve been pumping him with drugs to keep him going. It’s just bought us time with him. Which I’m grateful for. But now, even the drugs are losing the fight. It’s time ... ?
  8. In other news, water is wet. Not surprised… Good move.
  9. With respect to the season and their record, I love how some are so convinced and resigned to a fate because they watched a few preseason games. Preseason. Bloody hell.
  10. Once upon a time in the West. Saw it recently
  11. It’s amazing how some fans still cling to not liking Reinhart. Or at least are indifferent. sick redirect.
  12. Exactly… I’m surprised more fans who follow hockey semi-regularly don’t know that already… That goalies have hip surgeries very frequently. It’s very common.
  13. I don’t care how “stacked” a team may seem ... almost every year, and almost every round there is an unexpected upset. A major injury or two. Leafs aren’t winning the cup this season.
  14. Agree. So that means we’ll lose 4-2 ?
  15. Bogo Pilut Montour McCabe Good thing we have decent depth on D. Key word decent.
  16. Will we have a Buffalo broadcast crew or will the Blue Jackets crew be patched in?
  17. I usually look to and enjoy reading posters thoughts when they are well balanced, logical, not petty or immature in nature. When they post just as much positive as they do negative. I don’t take any fan seriously when it’s all one way or the other. It means some fans don’t have the ability to see and appreciate a good thing or bad thing when it happens with sports teams.
  18. Finished watching NOS4A2. Good show. Going to start binging on Castle Rock soon. For us Breaking Bad fans ...
  19. For my money ... Current roster ... Except for Eichel, and Dahlin, Reinhart is the next most important player on this team. He’s the straw that stirs the drink with almost anyone he plays with. It would take a lot to convince me to move such an important piece. As a side note, I don’t want Laine at all.
  20. It’s preseason. Lines change all the time. Whatever line gets him to be the best Jeff Skinner he can be, AND help win hockey games (most important), is fine with me. I couldn’t care less what number line he plays on.
  21. Good for both of them. Quality guys.
  22. Yea, an enforceable rule to only allow vetted sources in here when it comes to rumors of trades would be nice. I know theres no interest in that. It’s just my two cents ...
