Yea, he’s really a peaks and valleys type of player ...

Anaheim are doing a terrific job neutralizing anything the Sabres try. It’s not just the Sabres playing poorly.
-
PP needs to connect here ...
-
RK has to game plan for the 3rd. Counter punch and get this game tied. weak goal ...
-
Deflected I believe
-
No no no ... no need to go there
-
Better than a Gaustad impersonation ... by a mile.
-
Exactly. RK needs to counter punch. Last season Housley almost never adjusted in game. It was painful to witness the ineptitude.
-
I look that way every time I post on this forum ?
-
And Risto was weeeeeak just before that
-
Blown coverage on that one ... yikes

I thought it come from the young kid who was making a tower of pucks as Eichel scored in his rookie year. He himself called it the Eichel tower

There are players who are easy to replace, and players who are hard to replace. If Larsson or Girgs think they are worth more than one or two year deals, you move on from them. If they think they deserve much more than qualifying offers, you move on from them. Those two are at the very very very bottom of my “I’m concerned about their next contract” list.

Lawrence Pilut is a Full Participant in The Amerks Practice Today

Yeah, I’d like to keep him in our system and have him develop… I don’t wanna see him get traded away. Some fans just want the finished product and don’t have the patience to see players develop. -
Yea, I was thrown by that too. If you must post the PT zone because they are playing out west, then at least also post the ET zone since 95% of fans are, you know ... in the WNY area. 10PM ET ... aren’t a whole lot of extra characters.

Unfortunately I think we lose tonight... 3-2 Erod, Skinner or Miller with a goal.

The Sabres are 5-0-1 through six games. It's the first time Buffalo has started a season with points in six straight games since the team went 6-0-2 through its first eight games of the 2008-09 season. Buffalo is looking to start the season with points in each of the team's first three road games for the first time since they began the 2011-12 season with wins in each of their first four road games. Through six games, the Sabres have already gotten points from 17 different players and had 10 different players score at least one goal. Jack Eichel (3+6), Rasmus Dahlin (1+7), Victor Olofsson(5+2) and Sam Reinhart (3+3) have all tallied at least a point per game so far this season. This is the first of two meetings between the Sabres and Ducks this season. Last meeting: Buffalo defeated Anaheim 3-0 in Buffalo on Dec. 22, 2018. Next meeting: Sunday, Feb. 9 in Buffalo The Sabres are 5-4-1 in their last 10 games vs. the Ducks; 4-6-0 on the road. The Ducks have averaged just 2.37 goals per game in their 38 all-time meetings against the Sabres, marking Buffalo's lowest per-game average against any opponent. The Sabres have earned points in each of their last five games against the Ducks dating back to March 17, 2017 (4-0-1), including wins in both meetings last season. They have won their last three games in Anaheim, with the last loss coming on Feb. 24, 2016.

If you DON’T sign them, they continue to play and develop in the league that you drafted them from, whether the CHL, USA (which I guess is college), or European countries. If you DO sign them, they will play on your AHL team if sent down from the NHL squad, unless.. They are under 20 AND Drafted out of the CHL In that case, they’ll return to their CHL team if you demote them from the NHL roster. Any unsigned player can be signed to a contract mid-year and will immediately be assigned to your NHL or AHL (if eligible, see above re: CHL) team. AHL players can be recalled and returned at any time (though some require waivers when being returned). CHL players must remain in the CHL for the remainder of the season once sent down. Keeping a CHL-eligible player in the NHL for 10 or more games counts as year 1 of his 3-year entry level contract. Keeping him for 9 or fewer will not, and he will still have 3 years left the following season. NHL contract rules state that a CHL player may play in the NHL if they make the team, but if they get sent down before age 20, they will get sent all the way back to junior, and not your AHL squad. Also, any player can participate in 9 regular season NHL games before it counting as a year off the contract. So with that, your CHL players will 'slide' a year. This also applies for players who play their first season as a Professional in the AHL. So you can get 4 years out of a players ELC if you let them slide and play a year in the AHL before moving up. This rule does not apply for players who were signed and were sent back to CHL, as they have already had a slide. ^ found this elsewhere and it seems pretty straightforward.

Huh? i predict one of Mitts, Risto OR ERod with a goal. I’ve said it like that for many games in the past. Adds up fine for me. Maybe you took it as I am predicting who’s going to score both goals. I’m not. I’m taking a fun guess as to who will score one of the goals. ?♂️ -
