  1. http://www.naturalstattrick.com/playerreport.php?fromseason=20192020&thruseason=20192020&playerid=8477933&sit=5v5&stype=2 have at it ...
  2. Players don’t get paid by “well if he’s not with player XYZ, he’s not as good”. see Skinner, Jeff. See Okposo, Kyle. See Laine, Pat. See Toews, John. And so on and so on and so on ...
  3. Do we know if JB is religious? He’s possibly hoping KO retires. But praying? I don’t know...
  4. So EA sports NHL trades. ? fantasy trading is funsies.
  5. Sam is the straw that stirs the drink on any line he plays on. He’s one of, if not the best passer on the team. His production/developing is such a welcome addition to this team. Do some fans actually not see his development since he was drafted? Quite blind if so. I wouldn’t move him unless it was a stupid overpayment by a bad GM. He’s headed towards a 6-8 year, 6.75 - 8.5 mil contract. And it will be fair for what he brings.
  6. Yep. The Reinhart “haters” or if one prefers so they aren’t so easily offended, Reinhart “don’t care fors” are like ... when it comes to what Reinhart WILL get (deservingly) in his next contract. Just like the vast majority of NHL contracts, a lot of hockey fans (not just Sabre fans) will view the next contract for Reinhart as overpaid, not worth it etc... Unless he falls off a cliff production wise ... he’ll get 6-8 years at 6.75 - 8.25 mil. next contract. And the whining for some will begin ?. That contract overall, over the length of it, will be fair for what he brings.
  7. I want no part of Pominville. Or Vanek. No part.
  8. I’ll be optimistic again .... 4-3 Sabres Skinner, Asplund, or Dahlin with goal
  9. KO ... buddy ... it’s time. Please.
  10. Woah! i missed the KO head injury! Anyone have a video clip of it?
  11. Buffalo is right back at it. Following the team's 4-2 win over the Ottawa Senators last night, the Sabres will play the Chicago Blackhawks tonight. It's a 7 p.m. ET faceoff with the Buick Game Night pregame show getting underway at 6:30 p.m. on MSG. Dan Dunleavy and Rob Ray will have the call on MSG and WGR 550. This is the first of two meetings between the Sabres and Blackhawks this season. Last meeting: Chicago defeated Buffalo 5-4 (SO) in Chicago on March 7 Next meeting: Saturday, March 21 in Buffalo The Sabres are 1-5-4 in their last 10 games vs. the Blackhawks; 1-6-3 on the road.
  12. I would agree with this general assessment. Hell, a lot of NHLer’s in their Sophomore years regress from their freshman years. Kid is too talented to think it’s gonna really be an issue. He’ll settle in. I’m glad he’s trying to focus on his defensive play. Like you said... simple common growing pains.
  13. Keep em’ developing!!!
  14. Meh. Ok. You took it that way. I took it as frustration discussion. I Took it as ...
  15. We? Are you referring to a discussion Some posters were having about IF Eichel was traded what would the Sabres get in return? Like posters do with almost every player on the roster? Ullmark had a nice game. Asplund was noticeable. Reinhart was Reinhart. Montour was galloping most of the night.
  16. Well, glad they won. what Eichel did tonight (4 goals), will most likely happen 3-4 times in his career. It would be nice if it was more, but it probably won’t. And if history is any indicator, Eichel will “take games over” about 3 - 5 times a season. I wish it was most games, but that’s practically impossible to do that. He’s just not that kind of player to do that very often. Reality vs. wishful thinking. We need another top 6 forward as another significant threat in this team. More than Skinner and Reinhart.
  17. https://www.nhl.com/sabres/video/hockey-fights-cancer-goalie-masks/c-4597082 goalie masks for tonight
  18. There wasn’t really any “crashing of the net” goalies rarely went down to stop a puck. at one point, it was against the rules for goalies to go off their skate edges to stop a puck. They had to just stand there lol.
  19. They were tough and they walked to school, uphill, in both directions. They could take a spike to the back, throat and eyeball without so much as a whimper.
  20. There is plenty of blame to go around. Including but not limited to goaltending. Blaming everything except goaltending is shortsighted IMO.
