  2. So the hit on Lewis in the first period... from my perspective I couldn’t see the hit. Who hit him and what kind of injury do you think it was? They didn’t replay the hit at the game here. Any video clip of the hit?
  3. Meh ... don’t be too discouraged. He just turned 21. He has too much talent to be a NHL bust. Hell, even though it’s not what he projected to be ... if Casey tops out as a solid 3rd liner in the NHL and plays spot duty on the 2nd line, for me, that’s a success story nonetheless. Again, not ideal, not what he was projected to be when drafted. That’s not a bust to me. Anyone who plays (has a career) in the NHL isn’t a bust to me. I just have a different mindset than the ZOMG he’s a top 10 pick, he must play on the top line!!!!
  4. The wife and I will be going to this afternoon barn burner. Gonna try out Rachel’s for lunch before the game. Hopefully lunch isn’t the highlight ... Optimistic prediction 3-2 Sabres Joker, Rinehart, or Skinner with a goal. Ready for a Buffalo sports doubleheader? The Sabres face the Los Angeles Kings this afternoon at KeyBank Center. And then the Buffalo Bills take on the New England Patriots on the road. Faceoff for the Sabres is at 1 p.m. on MSG and 930 WBEN. Tickets are on sale now. Catch the GMC Game Night pregame show at 12:30 on MSG. Jack Eichel and Evan Rodrgiues are game-time decisions as they are both recovering from injuries. This is the second of two meetings between the Sabres and Kings this season. Last meeting: Buffalo defeated Los Angeles 3-0 in Los Angeles on Oct. 17 The Sabres are 6-4-0 in their last 10 games vs. the Kings; 9-1-0 at home. This is the 127th game all-time between Buffalo and Los Angeles; Buffalo has a 62-45-19 series record. The Sabres are 36-17-9 at home against the Kings all-time.
  5. Ooo ah ... Sabres on the warpath!
  6. I dare RK to keep Hutton in for the 3rd.... a nice fat 8-1 loss would be fitting
  7. Are you trying to say the team are a bunch of pus ... err cats?
  8. And yet, in a sick way ... needed.
  9. Happy Birthday Hutton! Here’s your gift ... a loss.
  10. Oh he was soooo one trick pony.
  11. Your thought was right. The team it applies to is .... ?
  12. Keep passing into the flyers legs ya bozos
  13. I’ve watched every game, and attended 3 so far this season... yes, they “play hard” for RK. Play hard doesn’t automatically equal “win games”. At least in my opinion they play hard. Others think all losses equal “didn't play hard”. All wins equal “played hard”.
  14. That’s exactly who I want to see step up....
  15. There’s a reason Philly has a perfect home record....
  16. Something something ... Sheary is a stupidhead something something
  17. As if it wasn’t already .... maybe this game will be a catalyst for JB to push even harder to get a deal done. Seeing how flaccid the Sabres are without one important player on the team.
  18. I just heard that! Did they say why? I didn’t catch that part
  19. And yet, like almost all the “on pace” discussions, he won’t get near 61pts. I can see him ending up with 42-47 points. Which would still be great!
  20. Not to mention the ol pesky oral cancer thing ...
  21. So, reading the comments, it looks like he’s pretty unmovable. Not impossible. But very hard to move that bloated contract with all things considered. Paying him 6 mil. to play on the bottom six, is Matt Moulson territory all over again. Ugh. I like KO, I really do. But that’s gonna be a hard pill to swallow for the next 3 years after this year. And I would hate to give away good prospects or a good roster guy just to rid ourselves of his contract. We’re stuck.
