Complaining to complain ya can’t please everybody. Bloody hell. Overall I think it was the right thing to do and pleases the majority of fans. Full stop.

It’s not a bad move. Could be (key word) one of several moves to get to a more “significant” NHL move.

Like Ruff with Miller Like Bylsma and Housley with Risto Some coaches either can’t help themselves or have no alternative. -

He’s definitely not a 30 goal man unless he develops wayyy beyond anyone has dreamed. But he certainly can develop into more of scoring touch than Larsson. -

No, as you know ... no matter the score, no matter the scoring chances, no matter the effort, no matter the goaltending ... not a bad period/nice job in that period. ? -

Girgs is worse. Much worse. -
Fans all the time think that success in lower league Will definitely translate to success in the NHL. You don’t have to look any further than the banter on this message board about Cozens. And the majority of the time it never pans out as successful as they think it will. I think the majority of the fans have a hard time with measured expectations. Instead they get disappointed because they had elevated grand sometimes unrealistic expectations to begin with.

3-0 shutout last game ... I’ll be optimistic and say it will be closer ... 3-2 Bruins. -
No. He’s a developing young Dman. This is a recording.

It's a game night in Boston. Coming off a 3-0 loss to the Bruins at home on Saturday, the Sabres will look to split their home-and-home set with the Atlantic Division leaders tonight at TD Garden. Pregame coverage on MSG begins at 6:30, with puck drop scheduled for 7. The Sabres will be without Jeff Skinner, who is expected to miss three to four weeks after sustaining an upper-body injury on Friday. If Saturday's practice was any indication, that could mean we see some new-look forward lines. Johan Larsson skated with the team Saturday after missing the past three games with a lower-body injury. Sabres coach Ralph Krueger said his status for the game will be determined this morning. If Larsson does play, he could center a line with Marcus Johansson and Sam Reinhart. The Sabres used that look in practice, with Kyle Okposo then slotting in on the right wing alongside Victor Olofsson and Jack Eichel. The four lines were as follows: 68 Victor Olofsson - 9 Jack Eichel - 21 Kyle Okposo 90 Marcus Johansson - 22 Johan Larsson - 23 Sam Reinhart 28 Zemgus Girgensons - 27 Curtis Lazar - 71 Evan Rodrigues 43 Conor Sheary - 74 Rasmus Asplund- 13 Jimmy Vesey By splitting up the trio of Girgensons, Larsson, and Okposo, Krueger said he hopes to see their habits spread throughout the lineup. That line has been one of Buffalo's most consistent this season in terms of how they play within the team structure. -
Dahlin is a developing young Dman. He hasn’t plateaued. He hasn’t regressed. He’s also at the present moment, far away from personal “pat em on the back” awards given by the league. And I couldn’t care less if he ever wins one. I am way more invested/interested in Dahlin developing and making the team overall better. Awards chasing (importance) are for chumps in my opinion. I know some fans and some players put a ton of stock in award winning. I don’t.

I know some think this way. I don’t think JB does.
-
meh. Perhaps. I’d think they’d want a significant piece too. Like Skinner with 25-30% retained. And Risto. And to unload a cap dump on us. That’s the kind of major grab they’d be looking for IMO. Kane is Chicago’s Crosby. It would take a mountain to move him.
-
I think the vast majority think this way. Only a few fans actually think Cozens will in fact be a viable option at center as a 19 year old green horn.
-
No thanks. I don’t want him. He can stay in Chicago. Just because his mommy pushed him out in this geographical location, doesn’t make me want him any more. I know that’s weirdly important to some hockey fans. And I’m this hypothetical, Chicago would want a ton for him. Like more than what’s listed.
