I know I’m in the minority, but I feel bad for Hutton. And with Ullmark being played so much, I feel bad for him. He’s being run into the ground IMO. 4-3 Oilers Reinhart, Larsson or Joker with a goal.

The Sabres are back it at today with a game against the Edmonton Oilers. Faceoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. with pregame coverage on MSG starting at 6:30. This is the second of two meetings between the Sabres and Oilers this season. Last meeting: Buffalo defeated Edmonton 3-2 (OT) in Edmonton on Dec. 8, 2019 The Sabres are 5-4-1 in their last 10 games vs. the Oilers; 5-4-1 at home. With a win tonight, the Sabres would sweep the season series with the Oilers for the third time in four seasons. Edmonton won both matchups in the 2018-19 season. The teams haven't split a series since 2013-14, the first season that they resumed facing off twice a year.

The thing is ... and correct me if I’m wrong, his full salary for the year may be 5mil. But for the remainder of the season, his actual salary owed is now roughly half that with half the season gone. So a team who wants veteran depth in the playoffs may consider Bogo in a month or so. Key word ... may (injury history and all) with his contract expiring in April ... who knows ...

Imagine setting up Risto or Larsson in front like Reinhart usually does. Hard to move individuals who are a PIA to play against. I wouldn’t mind seeing that.

I completely understand the “set it up” mentality when on the PP. But move the feet and cycle. Faster passing so the goalie and PK have to constantly readjust for godsake!

I still like the Pegulas. sorry I just do. I’ve heard all the adjectives, and strong emotions. It just doesn’t move the needle for me. I still like them as owners. Oh well ... JB... I’m not at the “dislike him” phase. But I am at the “ya gotta do better than what you’ve been doing” phase.

RK is playing Ullmark too much. I know some people don’t like it, but Hutton needs to rotate in there every once in a while. A little more than he has been. Even if Hutton has been subpar/terrible or whatever satisfying adjective one likes to use.
