  1. Reinhart with the first star too. glad to have witnessed a win in person tonight.
  2. Two point night so far... Reinhart! Love it. The criticisms won’t stop. And neither will Reinharts quiet point production. Take the good with the bad I suppose.
  3. Oh Look. the fresh new joke of a giraffe. sucks for Tage ?
  4. I’ll be going to this barn burner tonight with the wife. Optimistic ... 4-3 Sabres Sheary, KO, or Dahlin with a goal
  5. The Sabres host the Vegas Golden Knights tonight at KeyBank Center. Faceoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. This is the first of two meetings between the Sabres and Golden Knights this season. Last meeting: Vegas defeated Buffalo 4-1 in Las Vegas on Oct. 16, 2018 Next meeting: Friday, Feb. 28 in Las Vegas This is the fifth game all-time between Buffalo and Vegas; Buffalo has a 1-1-2 series record. Buffalo is 6-3-3 against the Pacific Division this season, including a 3-1-2 record against the division at KeyBank Center. The Sabres have gone 4-for-11 (36.4%) on the power play in their last four games, tying for the second-best mark in the league during that stretch entering play Monday.
  6. And I’m of the exact opposite opinion. (About wanting him on my team). I never cared for him. Ever. And being a Bruin, helped even more to hate him. A lot. ?
  7. Marchand ?????? ??????
  8. I agree with this. Some fans just don’t see those things unfortunately. They cling to any negative and dated criticism they can regarding Reinhart.
  9. No idea. Try it. Let me know what they say.
  10. Six year/6.5mil get it done. Takes him to 30.
  11. Every summer, they “get thru” most of the list (offering tickets to those on the list). The issue is timing and or preference. They may call most of those on the list, but maybe at that time a good chunk of fans can’t afford it so they ask to stay on the list and ask them next season. Or the location of the seats isn’t what they prefer, so again, ask to remain on the list in case better preferred seats become available. I bet a majority of that list falls under those two categories. The rest of that list buy the seats that are available to them. And believe it or not, people are still calling to get on the list so the list has stayed around 2,000 for the past 3-4 years. Before that the list was around 3,000 but more fans hung onto their seats longer. Not as much turn around as there is currently.
  12. Partially false ... Yes the waiting list was longer and people hung onto their seats more. But ... I’m a STH and I know for a fact that the waiting list is around 2,000 deep as of 1/12/2020.
  13. And you certainly didn’t “sound an alarm” to all those who disagree with your opinion on the owner. You just managed to knee jerk early in the game and happened to be the leader as others jumped on the bandwagon over the years. And now to those who agree with the negative views on the owners, you were one of the first on this forum. Um ok. So ... congrats?? I still like the Pegulas ... so congrats??
  14. Sure. He’s on a fair contract. He’d be a nice #2 center.
  15. Yep. Everyone is quite aware. Detroit looks like the Sabres did pre Eichel and the first 2 years after Eichel lol.
  16. If only this team could look this competent against the other 29 teams in the league ?
  17. Search for: NBC suspends Roenick you’ll run across the things he said... bad move Jeremy. Bad move.
  18. Optimism time .. Sabres come out flying. Sore from yesterday’s loss. 4 - 1 Sabres. Lazar, Frolik, or Risto with a goal.
  19. I don’t think so but we’ll see. It was always the plan to get UPL into Roch. this season after he rehabs. Which, he has.
  20. Driver or passenger ... that’s a different discussion. My original post that you replied to was mentioning a desire for a more physical player. Full stop. I didn’t get into drivers, passengers, or pedestrians. Or the difference in them. Just the physicality would be nice to acquire while also contributing on the scoresheet. I also didn’t say a specific players name I wanted. Just a player, who plays physical would be a nice add to the Sabres lineup. If you want to have further discussions of drivers, and passengers of offense, go for it. I wasn’t discussing that in my original post. Perhaps other posters would be interested in that nuance and sub-category of physical players.
  21. I didn’t think I had to. I thought people would get the jist of what I was driving at. Ok I guess I need to explain it better.... It would be nice to have more players who took the body and played with a physical edge. While at the same time contributing on the scoresheet. in other news, water is wet ?
  22. The Buffalo Sabres will look to shake off yesterday afternoon's 6-3 home loss to the Vancouver Canucks when they take the ice tonight at Little Caesars Arena. Faceoff against the Detroit Red Wings is set for 5 p.m. Catch the Buick Game Night pregame show at 4:30 on MSG. The Sabres are 9-2-2 against the Red Wings since the beginning of the 2016-17 season, including a 6-1-0 record on the road and a 2-0 win in Detroit in the first meeting between the teams this season. The Sabres enter tonight's game with wins in four consecutive visits to Detroit for just the second time in franchise history, joining Buffalo's five-game road winning streak against the Red Wings from Oct. 25, 1979 to Dec. 12, 1981. Buffalo has killed 32 of 36 penalties (88.9%) against Detroit in the last 10 meetings between the clubs, dating back to March 20, 2017. This is the second of four meetings between the Sabres and Red Wings this season. Last meeting: Buffalo defeated Detroit 2-0 in Detroit on Oct. 25, 2019 Next meeting: Thursday, Feb. 6 in Buffalo The Sabres are 7-2-1 in their last 10 games vs. the Red Wings; 7-2-1 on the road.
