Exactly. So love it or hate it, The owners are no longer delegating. They are gonna micromanage the hell out of the team. We’ll see how long KA and RK put up with the level of it. I hope some NHL GM experience gets hired as assistants and/or advisors.

Somebody asked a question at the presser yesterday about hiring experience for the assistant GM position… And KA said that’s going to be part of the ongoing discussions with the pegulas. Maybe I’m just being optimistic, but I think that’s pretty much saying it without really saying it at the presser… That they do want some experienced people in the assistant GM position. Me personally I hope that they do get somebody with a ton of experience to back up KA. Of course I’ll believe it when I see it. And not before.

In fairness, I view some discussions as actual conversations. A little back-and-forth to express our views and discuss the views and maybe even change someone’s opinion once in a great while. But forums overall, and not just this one, (I’m a Mod on a non-sports forum), Have mostly become a place to tell people your view, and they tell you their view… And there’s nothing you can do to change their mind no matter what you say. And there’s nothing they could do to change your mind no matter what they say. So it’s not really a discussion at all. It’s just a place to tell everybody who’s reading it what your unwavering view is on any particular topic. And when that happens, I find it’s not even worth getting into a discussion in the first place. Because it’s not really a conversation at that point. It’s just another version of a bull horn to tell everybody what you view as truth. And no other opinion matters. I Personally get way more value out of Factual articles that are posted here. Non-opinion articles. With an occasional logical, levelheaded opinion here or there. And the posters who stay mostly levelheaded and logical are the ones I enjoy reading the most. And I mostly block out the silly posters who aren’t that way. Just my O ?‍♂️

The team has been sold to Elon Musk. The arena will now be run fully on solar, wind and batteries. No more Zamboni. now it will be 30 people during an intermission with buckets of water and squeegees. And he’s changing the name to the Buffalo $7A@Q€*£¥}! It’s all very exciting!

Just began (fist episode) How to get away with Murder. It seems interesting. Anyone see the whole thing yet? Is it worth the time? Edit: so I watched two more episodes. It’s good. But so far it seems very “soap opera-ee”.

What forwards have ... 1. signed a contract within the last 18 months. 2. Is within two years of age, of Reinhart. (A 5 year swing). 3. Is within 40 points over the course of the last three years of what Reinhart has produced. 4. Have played as a top six forward for all those three years. Those are the players contracts you look when determining what ballpark Sam will most likely receive. Without doing the research, and taking into consideration salary cap percentage and increases, I would guess 6.25-7.00 mil/per is fair market value.

They all try to keep their cards close to the vest. They all tell the media what they want to hear. And what they think fans will eat up. With the occasional “off the reservation” rant. Good sound bite. No real substance.

And who were the suckers who quickly believed it. ? And then started to hate or dislike ROR from the day he said what he Said about “lost love for the game” Etc. and for some even hated him from the moment he had his TH incident. ?

No other year has a physical or “mental” asterisk next to the SC champions. At least from what I can gather. So no, it won’t. Nor should it.
