In 2020, you’d think there would be a way to “auto-set” a thread to activate and open at a certain time weekly. And close at a certain time weekly. So Mods don’t have to Remember to open and close it. Oh wait ... there Is that ability. The functionality and technology exists. Just not on this forum unfortunately.

It’s a lot easier to look like a good player when you’re playing on a good team… Especially in the playoffs. ie. Armia and Zadorov. it’s also shortsighted to be enamored with those players when they have a handful of good games. both of those players would look like complete garbage on the Sabres, or LA, or Detroit.

By your own biased analysis, if you aren’t going to have a player that can drive his own line you wouldn’t give somebody that kind of money. So you would not put Hall on the same line as Eichel... right? You would have Hall drive his own line. So why are you putting Hall with Eichel? ? And railing against that kind of number… Anybody who has a clear thinking mind about Reinhart knows he’s not getting 8.8. So it’s kind of a moot point isn’t it? That part of the article is way off base. And almost everyone knows it.

I still view him as young and trying to figure out the “pro life” side of things. In my opinion, he has too much talent to not make it as a full time NHLer. Even if it’s a “3rd liner”. To me that would be successful if he developed into a full-time NHLer. Some people put so much freaking weight on his draft position. I’m not going to do that. I just want to see him make the NHL and have a nice long career. And some people put so much freaking weight on what he does in his off time like going to carnivals or being on a friends boat taking photos and putting them on his Instagram. I’m not going to do that. It’s just a young man having fun with friends… Not a Big freaking deal. How I look at it ... Like every hire on the Sabres ... I give every hire a generous window of opportunity to do a good job, before slamming the action of hiring him. I’m glad for Ellis. Hope he does well in his new role.
