I love the way they are built. So good. Perfect mix of skill, speed, and sandpaper.

Good job Isles. Just knock off the Flyers. Then you can meltdown and get eliminated next round ?

I never knew about Ooni. My world has gotten brighter knowing that exists. It clicks the checkmarks for me. I’ll be getting the $250 one next spring. Fantastic.

I’m sure 99% of posters like the structured topic limiting parameters of each thread. I’ve seen worse and I’ve seen better forums who limit how much “off topic” a thread gets before moving or deleting posts. This forum at times is the Wild West with a sheriff who is too busy most days to see what his Volunteer deputies are or are not doing. If a poster doesn’t like that, try changing that or move to another “town”. ?♂️

I agree, this forum needs at least two more mods. The problem is, you are gonna have slim “quality” pickings when you want people to volunteer their time. ThIs website obviously doesn’t take in enough revenue to pay moderators. If it did, the webmaster could attract higher quality experienced moderators. And those moderators would have quarterly reviews by the webmaster to make sure their money is being well spent. You get what you pay for. Other higher volume forums have paid moderators. I’m one on a non-sporting website. It’s nice pocket change. That being said .... I’ve seen this request many times in various forums under various topics.... And usually (not always) it boils down to the complaining poster(s) kinda saying (without saying) .. “I want to post what I want, where I want, how I want”. And pro-tip ... if a post gets moved to another thread (not deleted) It’s not censorship and no ones 1st amendment right is being trampled on in a privately owned website. As much as one wants to clutch their fists and shake them to the heavens, and create several posts about it ... It’s not censorship if it gets moved to another thread on the website. From the direction of all webmasters(who care) of all forums... the mods aren’t going to allow a poster to type what they want, where they want, how they want. It’s not how it works, and any halfway decent forum doesn’t allow that chaos. And if one wants “self-moderating”, go to a forum that embraces that. Like the cesspool that the Sabres and Bills Facebook pages are. Lastly, the moderating here is subpar, biased, and lacking compared to some other forums sporting and non sporting alike. And yet, better than some too. You know whose shoulders the experience on this forum falls on. Just my O.

Nice goal by Palat from Point. Made Krug look silly.

Thinly sliced and greasy. At least that’s what Bocce told me a long long time ago ?. Oh and high heat. Like 550-600° area.

I was referring to 4th (or later) round drafted. i think just because a guy is on the small side, doesn’t mean he doesn’t earn and deserve to be drafted in earlier rounds. The small guy COULD go on to have a very good career. Like the ones I listed (and many others). Just my O. ?♂️

Imagine if that way of thinking happened with these guys ... P. Kane 5’ 10” B. Marchand 5’ 9” J. Gaudreau 5’ 9” B. Point 5’ 10” A. DeBrincat 5’ 7” T. Krug 5’ 9” J. Marchessault 5’ 9“ C. Atkinson 5’ 8“ M. Zuccarello 5’ 8“ R. Ellis 5’ 10” There’s many more as you know who have made loooong NHL careers who are productive, effective, and “small”. Some are even HOF’ers.

Yea I’m personally posting less and coming to the forum less. I’m apparently in the minority (and I’m fine with it), that I prefer a separation of games being played by highly skilled athletes, and their belief system/political opinion/social-political causes. If the trend continues, I think it will cause me to stop going to and watching hockey. I love the game. And just the game. There are so many other outlets in 2020 to express that stuff. I will defend a persons right to say it of course. Just like it’s my right go spend my time and money on whatever I please. Again, my personal preference. I’d like it to be kept out of a game. Keep it just that, a game. For a lot of fans, sports is a release, an escape, a break from the countless stresses of everyday life for people. Some (For a moment) escape with cigarettes, some escape with alcohol, some escape with drugs, some escape with food, some escape with playing a sport, and some escape with hunting and fishing, and some escape with watching sports live or on TV. And then some like to bully or guilt trip people into thinking the way they think (like they know better) or else they are [insert your favorite flavor of the month name calling word here]. It’s pervasive on many forums on the interwebs. I deal with it as a Mod on a non sporting Website daily. Freedom of choice. Embrace the beauty of it. Meh. Whatever ...

Tonight's NHL Games Have Been Postponed Until Saturday

Not exactly. I already “received” mine along with thousands of other STH’ers. We did not wait until the Sabres “can start playing again”. You are right in that ... If I can correct a prior thought .... yes, those that did not pick them up, Will have the opportunity to get them once the season starts again. They will not be mailed(sent). A STH’er will have to pick it up in person. I’m sure if a STH’er called to make individual arrangements to get it mailed to them, I’m sure they would accommodate the few who need that service. If you’d like to talk to Jonathan down at account services, he can tell you what he told me when I picked mine up 2 weeks ago. Bottom line, I know the bobble heads were “DONATED” by the Sabres and are being sold for $5.00 to benefit Roswell Park. So Sabres ARE not profiting from those sales. Glad they did that.

But but but Reinhart would be gone. Consequences be damned! ?

NYI coming back and forcing OT is awesome. Too bad they lost...

https://www.capfriendly.com/players/oliver-ekman-larsson after you look at that ... ask again ...

Besides a link, Can someone breakdown the details of the Coyotes situation?
-
For me, it would have to be a considerable overpayment to pry Reinhart off the Sabres. One in which the production is higher and he’s not on the downside of his career. But, some fans would trade Sam for Ryan Reaves cause like “he hits n fights n stuff”. ?
-
Yep. It’s been that way for many many years. Trades during playoffs happen often enough.
