I couldn’t care less about the race, sex, religion, or sexual orientation... Bring in a qualified, experienced head coach that has won in the playoffs too IN THE NHL. Full Stop. No more experiments. No more “they have been in and around hockey for decades”. No more “they’ve been an assistant for years, let’s give em a shot”. although I have a feeling that’s not who we’re going to get next.

Yea, that happened like 4 - 5 days ago I think. Sad stuff as always.

So many games so little time now. I doubt they have time to have many in depth or long practices. And that is just part of the problem.

All but Staal. My God he has a very punchable face. Never liked him. Still don’t.

I doubt it will take much “changing” to throw Skinner in the top 6, every game until the end of the season.

And a lot of the time ... the fans don’t know everyone who gets interviewed. So I’m sure we’ll see a bunch of hand wringing over assumptions of who was or wasn’t interviewed. 😂

Yawn. Almost nothing is ever gleaned from these things. And yet time and time again, some fans hope that THIS time it’s different. 😂

Ok who’s the next inexperienced coach on the roulette wheel of hires and fires will the Sabres get next. I for one don’t believe an experienced NHL head coach will be the next hire. Or I should say I’ll believe it when I see it. RK is gone. Is there really any need to clench your fists and be mad because It wasn’t done sooner. Waste of energy in my opinion. What’s done is done. I hope the next hire is a better one. Plain and simple.

I’m having games on in the background while I do house chores and general busy work. No longer a “sit and have all my focus and energy into the game” situation.

I like where that is going. If it was a serious letter that they would actually read ... I would want to tone down any insults or backhanded compliments. Believe me, I understand and am living thru the frustration just like every fan is. But there is no real NEED (key word) to insult them. I also understand this is a fun exercise on a message board… And that’s cool, everybody can say what they want knowing that Pegulas will never read it. Ever. But if it was to be a published letter to the owners that maybe would get published on the athletic or the Buffalo news… Some thing that would cross their paths and they would read… part of what your wrote are dead on and perfect… And then I would leave out any insults. I would want to stroke their ego a little, while also expressing frustration in a respectful mature way, and point out the lack of a solid, positive working game plan for the past decade. Basically a letter that would open up their minds to what is being said instead of reading insults and instantly making them on the defensive and shutting down their minds and chalking it up to just angry fan banter that carries no weight. Just a bunch of fans screaming at a wall. lastly, it would be an interesting exercise to pool together, write an interesting open letter to them and send it off to the athletic or the Buffalo news to see if they would publish it. I just fear that the letter may contain insulting, immature or unproductive language and it would never get published or that the Pegulas would just brush it off as angry fan banter.
