  1. At this point. AT THIS POINT. 2, 3, 4 wins to close out the season absolutely won’t “develop” the youngsters sooo much more where it’s super vital and a must do! IMO. That’s like thinking Dahlin was ZOMG ruined for life by RK while RK was coaching him for what? Less than 100 games? Lose out. Get a better chance at the draft. Master Laughter make no mistake… I’ll be happy if they win… Because I’m a Sabres fan. but I would prefer a loss at this point. At This Point.
  2. Yes. The thought of Foligno makes you all warm and happy inside. What you are actually going to get… Will never live up to what you were expecting. You’ll be looking for the nearest brick wall to bang your head against, while you simultaneously look desperately for someone to take the contract off your hands. Hard pass.
  3. And there you have it ... poll speaks for itself ...
  4. Sorry, but at this point ... get the best chance to get the best player in the draft ... Moist Loins Rags ... 5 Sabres ... 2 Cozens, R2, or Risto with a goal
  5. Although they are in the vast vast minority, believe it or not, there are 2 or 3 posters on this forum who think Drury in his prime was better/had more talent. But I noticed they didn’t participate In the poll 😂
  6. 1st sentence ... A+ 2nd sentence ... D- 3rd sentence ... A+ 😂
  7. For all intents and purposes ... it kinda already is 😂
  8. Honestly you took that wrong. I’m not talking about the one to disagree. There’s a distinct difference.
  9. Frankly I don’t care what station. At all. As long as it’s accessible by as many basic cable/satellite/streaming subscribers as possible.
  10. A comment made in another thread sparked this thread.... I was a huge huge huge Drury fan. WAAAAAY more than a Briere fan back when both were Sabres. I would rather have a team full of Drury types than a team full of Briere types. With that being said, i liked Briere a lot too. But Drury in his prime, was not more talented than prime Eichel now. What say you?
  11. That’s why I don’t take those posters seriously. At all. On some subjects they might be knowledgeable. But on others especially pertaining to Reinhart, it’s pure ignorance mixed with site allowed trolling/flaming. It’s a shame some still engage with them on that subject matter. Reinhart lives rent free in some heads 😂 I don’t find it to be a regrettable act, if the Sabres sign him for 6 - 7 years at 6.5 - 7.00 per. Like The Skinner signing was/is regrettable. And some like to think Eichel is the best passer on the team… granted it’s close… But I think Reinhart is the better passer. In fact I don’t think it’s wrong to say he’s the best passer on the Sabres right now. Followed very closely by Eichel, then Dahlin. All three excel at seeing the Ice very well and puck placement on sticks.
  12. McDavid for Eichel and Cozens. Do you do it? McDavid for Eichel and Dahlin. Do you do it? 🤔
  13. You’ve been around long enough here. Some of the threads created here are ... questionable and not top shelf also 😂
  14. If you think facts are excuses, then nothing will satisfy you. I hope you aren’t doing that here ...
  15. Without a equal to or better goalie to pair with Ullmark, this team absolutely won’t make the playoffs IMO. Yea, it’s that dire.
  16. So you could care even less about his demeanor? Damn... (sorry I had to 😂)
  17. Beauty pass by Reinhart nice goal VO!!!
  18. Quickly became ugly and un-winnable now unless Meatballs changes his sauce recipe and fast!
  19. My wife just heard Rob Ray attempt to speak, and said ... “my god! He just chews on his own tongue” 😂
  20. That’s actually way better. The fan I’m referring to, would just say Rinehart is the best player on the team. Or, UPL has a loooong way to go before being NHL ready. Dahlin has a bad game ... “he sucks, trade him”. Not “Dahlin had a bad game tonight. He sucked”. Long way to go, implies to me 3 to 4 years. I don’t think UPL has a long way to go especially if he continues to develop well. More like 1 more full season, perhaps 2. Now If he doesn’t develop well, and plateaus, then he probably won’t make it out of the AHL for any extended period. I can see a scenario where he continues to develop well, and for the 22-23 or 23-24 season he’s backing up whatever starting goalie we have. Just as easily I can see his development plateauing and he never makes it out of the AHL except for the occasional call up due to injury or just to take a look at him. It’s very fluid and unknown right now.
  21. Man do I hate recency bias when making broad proclamations about players.
  22. I just can’t see a win today. Rags ... 4 Sabres ... 3 Skinner, Thompson, or Bryson with a goal
