  1. I’m sure Gronborg is a fine man and good coach. Me personally, I would like to see the next head coach should be someone with a lot of experience… In the NHL… As a head coach… With playoff success history… some people want to roll the dice with credentials less than that… That’s great. Me personally I don’t wanna go down that road again. There really is no wrong answer at this point.
  2. MTL is a good example of not having “high end” superstars, but with solid goaltending, and a great coaching plan, a team can make waves, and then some!
  3. Nope. I just have a different opinion than you. The horror …
  4. Nice hard win for MTL 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
  5. MTL keep shooting themselves in the foot errrr skate. stop with the penalties!!!!
  6. Sick goal
  7. Rinse and repeat. He’s done that his whole career…
  8. Damn …
  9. C’mon MTL kill this off
  10. Yes!!!!!
  11. Stupid commentary. Try harder Alberto. If that’s the scariest stuff he’s ever seen in hockey, he must be very young or just started watching the sport.
  12. Glad he raised his arm and gave a thumbs up
  13. Omg not good
  14. Well his contribution to both clubs are just ever so slightly more than the peanuts vendor at the arena, so that horseshoe up his ass is ever present.
  15. “Guys relax! It’s a game” That’s what was said in the corner as a bunch of players were wacking at the puck trying to gain possession. I didn’t care for Roy. I tolerated him as a Sabre. He lost a step after his big knee injury/surgery.
  16. I don’t hate Terry and Kim. I just hate some of the decisions they make regarding the Buffalo Sabres franchise.
  17. Grew up on Bocce’s on Abbott in Buffalo. Then I think the uncle split off and started Imperial. I remember them being pretty much identical pies. I compare every pizza to Bocce’s now. Now living in Williamsville there’s a Bocce’s on Hopkins. So I grab a pie from them roughly once a month. I have pizza roughly twice a month. Gotta be disciplined 😂
  18. It doesn’t matter what I want to discuss… Maybe everybody else wants to discuss it. If you don’t … great…. if he makes 8 or 10 threads… Or if he makes 31 threads… So what… again who makes that determination how many threads he should make?
  19. Who makes that determination? You? No, I think the threads are just fine the way they are. IF or UNTIL Eichel gets traded, go thru every single team one thread at a time like @dudacek has been. If you think it’s a waste of time to discuss a certain destination, it’s cool, no problem. Avoid the thread. Problem for you solved 👍🏼 Heck, There are threads I avoid for various reasons.
  20. Stunted. Not ruined. Dahlin was the most noticeable it was only a stunting of his development. Not a ruination.
  21. If you go back at all the threads I made of all the rounds 2 thru 7 … it is obvious to most except maybe you… That the Sabres for the most part were right in the middle of good drafting. They were not very good… And they were not very bad… For most of the years. you could point to teams that were worse… You could point to teams that were better in that time span. again… Obviously it’s not worth discussing. Because you already have your mind made up. So carry-on. The problem is everybody has their different definition of what a “successful hit” is. So it’s a fluid judgment call.
  22. So it is hyperbole. No need to discuss further. Carry on.
  23. Is this hyperbole? fact ALL teams draft bad, good and great players.
  24. I’m sorry I think those Oilers jerseys are atrocious
  25. I did not take that comment that way. Some people enjoy following kids in the draft no matter what the year no matter what the situation is with the Sabres no matter what is going on in the world of hockey. It’s some thing that some people like to do. Enjoying hockey on that level. They like to follow kids coming up in the draft. Heck, some hockey fans follow kids on teams from the age of 15. and some hockey fans, only follow kids after they get drafted by a professional hockey team. and some fans only care about or follow players when they make the NHL full-time. like I said everyone’s different. No big deal. on the related topic like you’re mentioning… I can absolutely see the thrill being gone, or it being too exhausting to follow for some fans who at one time did follow kids about to be drafted.
