  1. It doesn’t matter what I want to discuss… Maybe everybody else wants to discuss it. If you don’t … great…. if he makes 8 or 10 threads… Or if he makes 31 threads… So what… again who makes that determination how many threads he should make?
  2. Who makes that determination? You? No, I think the threads are just fine the way they are. IF or UNTIL Eichel gets traded, go thru every single team one thread at a time like @dudacek has been. If you think it’s a waste of time to discuss a certain destination, it’s cool, no problem. Avoid the thread. Problem for you solved 👍🏼 Heck, There are threads I avoid for various reasons.
  3. Stunted. Not ruined. Dahlin was the most noticeable it was only a stunting of his development. Not a ruination.
  4. If you go back at all the threads I made of all the rounds 2 thru 7 … it is obvious to most except maybe you… That the Sabres for the most part were right in the middle of good drafting. They were not very good… And they were not very bad… For most of the years. you could point to teams that were worse… You could point to teams that were better in that time span. again… Obviously it’s not worth discussing. Because you already have your mind made up. So carry-on. The problem is everybody has their different definition of what a “successful hit” is. So it’s a fluid judgment call.
  5. So it is hyperbole. No need to discuss further. Carry on.
  6. Is this hyperbole? fact ALL teams draft bad, good and great players.
  7. I’m sorry I think those Oilers jerseys are atrocious
  8. I did not take that comment that way. Some people enjoy following kids in the draft no matter what the year no matter what the situation is with the Sabres no matter what is going on in the world of hockey. It’s some thing that some people like to do. Enjoying hockey on that level. They like to follow kids coming up in the draft. Heck, some hockey fans follow kids on teams from the age of 15. and some hockey fans, only follow kids after they get drafted by a professional hockey team. and some fans only care about or follow players when they make the NHL full-time. like I said everyone’s different. No big deal. on the related topic like you’re mentioning… I can absolutely see the thrill being gone, or it being too exhausting to follow for some fans who at one time did follow kids about to be drafted.
  9. There’s nothing wrong with not watching, caring or reading about hockey players until they get drafted. Everyone is different….
  10. The round doesn’t matter to me. I just enjoy the fan tears of Leafs, Bruins, Flyers, and Habs. With a healthy side of tears from Canes and Stars fans too 😂
  11. It’s amazing how often that sentence or something like it needs to be repeated and reminded around here.
  12. I’m in the same vein as you… It’s a necessary evil… This round root for Montreal. Because leafs fan tears taste so delicious. 😋
  13. Maybe this will help a little … https://www.pizzamaking.com/forum/index.php?topic=30764.0
  14. Meh … Who they interview doesn’t concern me in the least. Couldn’t care less. It’s who they hire that interests me.
  15. Well Pens came back with a fast heavy game and the islanders couldn’t overcome it most of the night. Good game. Jarry was insane.
  16. That’s why I scoff at posters making (in my opinion, ignorant) all encompassing generalizations about how no current Sabres would “have what it takes” to play well in the playoffs. EVERY team in the playoffs have players who are “elevating their game” and playing “out of character” compared to the regular season. The Sabres would be no different. Any team for that matter would be no different. Now, having success beyond the first round is a different discussion entirely.
  17. Sprouted Bread and water This site is very good … https://www.eatingwell.com/recipes/18005/lifestyle-diets/vegetarian/ Or, just say screw it. Order a pizza, pay cash, cut up the box and throw out the evidence at a Walmart garbage can before she gets back home. enjoy with hockey. you’re welcome …
  18. And yet, from my POV, very good coaching and above average goaltending that won’t put your franchise in cap hell, would really turn the team in the right direction. NOT NOT NOT saying that’s all that’s needed. But what a major difference those two things could make.
  19. So decorated Colonel Phillip Corso was a liar. I think not. Travis Walton, Mike Rogers, Allan Dallis, David Whitlock, Greg Hayes and Bobby Cogdill were all liars. I think not. Again, you aren’t gonna convince the doubters.
  20. I never knew this existed. Looks like Amazon has a 24 pack… hmmm …. Wish I could try just one locally. I’ll have to look around.
  21. Well, I never buy the overpriced theater candy. So I vote overpriced popcorn. No butter. And my wife sneaks in two cans of Coca Cola 👍🏼 At least that’s what I remember since it’s been over 15 months since I’ve been inside a movie theater. 😕
  22. Thank you! I will check that out. Sometime in the next 5-6 years my wife and I plan on getting a damn good telescope and getting into astronomy on an amateur level. Maybe join the BAA.
  23. “if it is just us... seems like an awful waste of space.” There’s no doubt in my mind intelligent advanced life forms have not only flew in our atmosphere, but also landed on the planet. Not gonna convince the doubters otherwise.
  24. Funny how all the information that’s easily available nowadays … fans still ignorantly think any “issues” regarding the league rules, league punishments, league salary cap, and other things are the sole fault of Bettman. 😂
  25. Well a broken clock is right twice a day 😂 Ok, he’s 1% empathetic, 99% dooooouche bag
