I completely understand the whole “intellectually dishonest BS” sentiment. But who decides what is intellectually dishonest? You? Me? The White House? The board of physicians at John’s Hopkins? Certain Epidemiologists? Cable news? WHO? CDC? The answer is equally … no one decides. And everyone decides. Thankfully everyone can decide for themselves. At least that’s how I see it. 👍🏼

Everybody has a different definition of what “reliable sources” are. Yours may not be 100% true. Mine may not be either. Your neighbors may not be either. Your own physician may not be either. To think infallibility only applies to oneself is kinda ignorant, no? (not saying or implying anyone here is purposefully doing that)

Meh. I tuned out of heckle and jeckle many months ago. Maybe Duff and Biron can breath some life back into what should have been a good show. At this point I couldn’t care less about Ullmark. Good luck Linus. I’ll predict he has 4 years of “good enough to stay in the NHL as a 1B. Then after that he’ll be an NHL backup as younger and more talented goalies eat his lunch as starters. Then by 32-33 he’ll go to Europe for 3-4 years. Overall, not a “ZOMG” great career whatsoever. Unless the standard is retiring as a millionaire. Then yes, great career 😂

It’s an ever changing opinion when it comes to Jack Eichel. For me at least. Where I am today… Is, I do want him traded away. I don’t see him as a leader that I was hoping he would be. He’s as talented as all hell. Extremely talented. He’s going to have a great career moving forward. I just don’t see him as that leader that has that extra some thing where people will want to go through a wall for him. In a way he seems a little divisive. Perhaps immature in a way. He doesn’t seem to bring the entire team together. From an outside point of view… Because I do not know the locker room… That’s just how I see it. So yeah… Today… I just want him traded. but I always leave open the possibility that that opinion may change.

There is a difference between what one expects from UPL this season only. Full Stop. And what one expects from UPL long term. Full stop. I bet 90% of the votes here Are talking about this season only. I would bet very very few Are thinking long-term when it comes to giving their vote. For this particular poll at this particular time. Snapshot in time. Very very small snapshot in time.

Thank you for sharing your stories of that day and the days, weeks and months that followed. Very impactful. Heartfelt. I salute you. And give you handshakes and hugs. For some it’s still very raw. I feel it in your posts. Don’t ever apologize for what you still think and feel about that day. I’m sure most of us have evolved over time to look back with different lenses than we had on 9/11/2001. 👍🏼

There should be zero arguing in this thread! I hope posters share their experiences and feelings about that day if they care to. Without any pushback or static. In my opinion it’s not the time or place in this thread. thank you for those who already shared, and thank you to those who will be sharing.

I’m glad you post like you do. See I can’t do that because I see that no matter what ones opinion is, someone always has an issue with it and sometimes gets insulting or nasty instead of just respectfully disagreeing. I lurk more than I post because a lot of posters already type out exactly what I’m thinking so why bother wasting my time repeating it in a different combination of words 😂 Agree. But as a whole, there has been growing opinion intolerance in other facets of life for decades now. And it seems to currently be ramping up more. As I’m sure you know. Forums are a slice of that current reality.
