  1. Good thing he’s not a finished product yet. Hopefully he continues to develop in the right direction.
  2. They can turn a skate all day long to deflect it in.
  3. Left alone in front …. Ugh
  4. Leave it to Ginger Kentucky Waterfall to take a stupid penalty.
  5. It’s good to see Chad Ruhwedel carve out an NHL career. I liked his game when he was with Buffalo. Nice basic simple game. Steady.
  6. E-rod has always reminded me of Mr. Peepers from SNL
  7. I wonder if the value is different because of that. I know nothing about sports cards… Nor do I want to 😂
  8. Despite the injuries… I’ll go optimistic on this one… Sabres … 3 Penguins … 2
  9. Oh bloody hell. Here we go …
  10. The Buffalo Sabres are back in action tonight against the Pittsburgh Penguins. Faceoff from PPG Paints Arena is set for 7 p.m. on MSG and WGR 550 with pregame coverage on MSG kicking things off at 6:30. Here's what you need to know. We have some injury updates from head coach Don Granato. From Sabres.com's Practice Report by Jourdon LaBarber: Buffalo Sabres forward Casey Mittelstadt is progressing in his rehab from an upper-body injury and could be the closest of the team's injured players to a return, coach Don Granato said Monday. "He's still progressing, which is good news," Granato said. "That might mean it's less than a couple of weeks or around there if he continues to progress. But with the type of injury he has, we still need to see that progression. That's a very optimistic timeline." From the Game Notes, courtesy of Sabres PR: This is the first of three meetings between the Sabres and Penguins this season. Last meeting: Pittsburgh defeated Buffalo 1-0 in Pittsburgh on May 8, 2021. Next meeting: Friday, December 17, 2021 in Pittsburgh. The Sabres are 2-8-0 in their last 10 games against the Penguins; 3-6-1 on the road. This is the 203rd game all-time betweenBuffalo and Pittsburgh; Buffalo has a 70-89-43 series record. The Sabres are 27-54-21 on the road against the Penguins all-time. Through 14 games, 19 different players have recorded points for the Sabres and 15 different players have scored at least one goal.
  11. Keep him in Rochester for the various reasons already typed by others.
  12. Ryan Miller… You’re the next contestant on “ The price is $750,000!” 😂
  13. Nice x-mas paycheck regardless if he plays.
  14. That’s the reasonable and measured thing to do. Not everyone has that mindset. Hence the negativity.
  15. Do you think they got better over the past year? do you think they would have been equally as “effective” one calendar year ago? And believe me… I am not at all defending what RK did. It’s just an interesting thing to think about. To think if those players would’ve been just as effective a year ago. Or did they develop over the course of the last year and now they are better and they have a coach that allows them to show that they are better than one calendar year ago.
  16. I am actually surprised to see some of the posters who are really really really down on UPL … not turn around recently and admit that he’s had a few good games.
  17. I’ve never been a fan of “on pace for” discussions. Mainly because the pace never ends up being reality at the end 😂
  18. In your guesstimation, What percentage of the empty seats were: 1. People who had tickets but couldn’t make the game like family plans/emergencies/unexpected situations. 2. People who don’t want to be out and around in crowds. Nervous about the potential exposure to Covid. 3. People who aren’t vax’ed, therefore can’t attend. 4. People who are vax’ed but don’t want to share that private info with anyone but their family and personal doctors. So therefore can’t get in. 5. People who think the team as currently constructed sucks, and therefore won’t spend a dime on the Sabres. 6. Canadian citizens who don’t want to spend the $100 on a Covid test to and from, and the hassle to cross the border to see the Sabres. 7. Financial hardship for various reasons in the last almost 2 years.
  19. Very true… And yet, that doesn’t stop a lot of fans from complaining about imaginary things with the teams that they follow. 😂
