  1. Yea, he’d be smart to move on.
  2. Well I use it interchangeably. You don’t. Ok cool … 👍🏼
  3. Young players. That’s really what I meant. Young guns=Young players. I thought people knew that common phrase.
  4. You mean when we have legitimate full time NHLer’s on all four lines? Frankly all things considered, the results and effort doesn’t surprise me tonight. I’m actually surprised it’s not 5-1 already. It’s good to see the young guns out there though.
  5. OK OK… isles 5 Sabres 2 😂
  6. I am kind of in the same boat… I am very glad, very pleased that TNT is putting it together this year. But a handful of games at this point leaves me just cautiously optimistic. let’s see what he does the rest of the year…. Hopefully awesome. let’s see what he does next year… Hopefully awesome and continues to develop. I hope present day TNT isn’t the best he’ll ever be. But if he is… That’s ok too.
  7. This is the first of three meetings between the Sabres and Islanders this season. • Last meeting: Buffalo defeated New York 4-3 (SO) in Buffalo on May 4, 2021. • Next scheduled meeting: Saturday, April 23 in Buffalo. • The Sabres are 2-7-1 in their last 10 games against the Islanders; 1-7-2 on the road. • This is the 182nd game all-time between Buffalo and New York; Buffalo has a 84-72-25 series record. • The Sabres are 36-41-13 on the road against the Islanders all-time. • Tonight's game wraps Buffalo's seventh of 16 sets of back-to-back games this season, which began last night with a 4-3 loss vs. New Jersey. • The Sabres are 3-3-0 in the first game of back-to-back sets and 0-2-4 in the second game so far this season. • Buffalo's point breakdown in back-to-back sets this season is: four points (0), three points (2), two points (1), one point (2) and zero points (1).
  8. The Sabres kept it close last night. I was pleasantly surprised. But the loss, I expected. Tonight won’t be any different. Isles … 6 Sabres … 2 Peterka, Olofsson or Joker with a goal
  9. If we stay on the rails … yes. It has the potential to be a good period.
  10. You’re too generous. More like 320 grit. 😂
  11. It’s the age old “Lindy Ruff second period snooze” maneuver. Tried and true …
  12. What’s the re-write? I haven’t heard this yet.
  13. Ending 2021 on a low note. Devils … 4 Ssbres … 2 Okposo, Tuch or Dahlin with a goal
  14. Is there another factual article void of opinion? Not to mention The NY Times Is horrific most of the time these days.
  15. Yea. Part of the problem is some posters have diarrhea of the mouth and constipation of the brain when it comes to players and their development. Like this gem from 2020 regarding Mitts … ”Still think he's only worth a 4th round pick. You find a GM that'll give you more, you jump on it. He's garbage. Watching him play against professional players in both the NHL and AHL has cemented my opinion. He simply doesn't have what it takes to be a professional hockey player” “cemented” 😂 Thank god it’s not very common and majority of fans take a wait and see approach. Production wise, if Tuch gets 50+ points in a full healthy season, I’ll be very happy with that. Any less, and I guess it will depend on the circumstances as to why he produced less.
  16. Alex Tuch will do nothing wrong this game. That’s how shiny new toys work 😂 Sabres … 3 Jackets … 2 Alex Tuch will be rather pedestrian. He won’t suck, he won’t wow. He’ll need a few games to “ramp up”. Skinner, Cozens, or Dahlin with a goal
  17. I bet “slowly add” has a different meaning for certain fans 😂 For me, “slowly add” means over the course of 2-3 years after this season. Which I would agree with. Some I would suspect want “add all next season” to be the course of action. Impatience being a driving factor.
  18. I bought a Hockey fights cancer hat at the arena in 2017 with the signature. I didn’t know what signature I was going to get until I already bought the hat. it was Josh Gorges. I brought it home and researched how to safely take off marker out of the hat. I didn’t want his signature. I didn’t need his signature. And the signature came off beautifully. One of my favorite hats.
  19. He lost his love for the game. Just another Sabres related story. 😂
  20. Bruins fans are criminally underrated. If not #1, then definitely #2.
