Mark my words… At some point they will have a Jack Eichel “thank you video” during the commercial break at some point when he visits buffalo again as a VGK. it won’t be an obnoxious extreme like you’re suggesting … Of having a Jack Eichel appreciation night. if it makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside to boo him, then go for it. You won’t be the only one doing it. So maybe that’ll give you comfort to. but it’s also OK to not boo Eichel. And by not booing him that doesn’t automatically mean that you think he’s awesome or that you agree with everything he did while he was with the Sabres. some people like making booing sounds out of their mouth during a sporting event. It makes them feel good inside for whatever reason. … And some people don’t.

Yep. And I would add … The CBA wasn’t written (and gladly agreed to by all parties) that way. Not nearly enough have a problem with the way it is/was written. At this point it’s a non issue until the majority make it an issue.

I’m not nitpicking others who want to talk about on pace. I was just lending an opinion on why I don’t care for it. That’s all 👍🏼

I personally hate “on pace for” discussions because they almost never line up with exactly what happens by the time the season ends. That being said … he’s having a good season so far (key word). He needs to continue it without going cold in order to finish the season and consider it a “good season”. IF he gets injured for a few games, or IF he goes cold for 10 games, it will most likely be viewed as another “bad season” for Skinner.

Very good game. women’s USA vs. Finland. USA up 2-0 so far … The teams are well matched. 4-1 final …. Nice!

Regarding next year … And depth. Without depth, the Sabres are 2 key injuries (at the same time) away from going on a massive losing streak. KA needs to add good depth and better goaltending this summer.

No I didn’t intentionally not type Eichel. So add Eichel to the list. 👍🏼 Oh and Andreychuk. Unlike some fans, I don’t have hate for Eichel.

Maybe I wasn’t clear and I apologize for that. The amount of Sabres fans on Twitter. Vs. the amount of Sabres fans. The ratio is like 1:5 or less. I was just making a point that even if 100% of Twitter users who are Sabres fans hate the owner or franchise as a whole … that’s still a vast minority of fans overall actively showing their distain. On one social media site. That’s all. I don’t know if that’s any better of what I’m trying to say 😂

Yea. I honestly don’t know all prior owners of all four major sports from the beginning of their creation to 2022 … but I would (albeit ignorantly) bet the Pegulas are not the absolute worst owners ever to own a professional sports team in the history of all four professional sports. “Past era”, “modern era” … just phrases that mean different lengths of time to different people.

Oh. And never ever say anything positive in the slightest regard (unless you follow it up with it all being sarcastic) regarding the team/franchise. 😂

The Sabres “fans” on Twitter account for 20% or less of the overall fan base. Twitter is definitely not a good representation of any majority opinion good or bad regarding the Sabres. Or any sports team for that matter.

Hey Pegulas, you’d have a lot more interest in the Amerks if you made a deal with MSG to broadcast Amerks games in the Buffalo market on nights the Sabres weren’t playing. I’d watch most games if that was the case. I pay enough for streaming spectrum cable. I’m not about to pay more for ESPN+, Hulu, or AHL.tv to allow me to watch Amerks games. Freaking vampires.
