Dahlin made some excellent passes to set up close-in scoring chances for teammates at around the 6 min mark of the 2nd period as well… He played a very impressive game… Made the most of his playing time… Happy for him… Excited to see what he brings back in the second half…

Geez… Sure looked real… Great gag design and execution by Zegras, then… All Star worthy…

Thought the Skills Challenge was fun…. Skating Speed, Shot Speed, several contests highlighting Shot Accuracy and poise under pressure… Good stuff… Zegras’ Blindfold 360 puck handling and shot in the Breakaway Challenge was amazing… Kid is special… Dahlin performed well… 4th of 9 in timed accuracy… and would have been higher but a whiff cost him a couple seconds… Nonplussed… He recovered immediately… Top of the leader board for a little bit… Wonderful experience for him… Expect he will come back to Buffalo full of confidence… and want to get back there next year… Looking forward to watching the all All Stars perform tomorrow…

I don’t think they can afford to “plan” to miss the playoffs next year… What would that be??… 12 years straight??… No… Don’t think Adams expects to miss the playoffs next year… He will make some moves, my bet… Bringing a few talented, high character vets from winning programs… May cost a couple of our talented kids and a couple future high draft picks… Expecting strategic movement… Adams will give Granato and the core some help…

Jury’s still out on Granato for me… but in all fairness… surprised we played at all given what a mess this road trip was between botched Covid tests, last minute roster replacements, injuries, travel problems, etc… Adams, coaching staff, and team leaders need to regroup before the 10th…

Wouldn’t be the first to fall victim to the LV temptations…
