Damn. Already?

In my fantasy, I would have had the team watch all the video commentary by the ESPN and NHL Network crews as the game progressed and the astonishment after the 1st period, turned to criticism after the 2nd period, and ended in ridicule and belly laughs by game’s end. Then, I would have had each player read aloud one of 25 comments pre-selected by Ruff that were posted on SabreSpace during and after the game last night. Then, I would announce to them my resignation as Coach, and wish them the best the rest of the season. In my fantasy, Pegula, Adams, and the rest of the front office are in attendance. The meeting ends when Pegula announces he is selling the team.

I do. Coaching. What are Ruff and Appert telling players on the bench? The meltdown occurred over the last 30 minutes of play. There was plenty of time to adjust.

1 and 2 for sure. Pegula should speak at a postgame presser on the record at least every couple weeks. Adams as well. Promote Murray, among others. Will never be NHL regular, but plays hard who knows the kids. Sets an example. Send a message. Like your other ideas as well.

I will wake up tomorrow, God willing, to enjoy another day in this great country. I will be rid of the memory of this miserable experience tonight. I will watch the Sabres on Thursday and wish them a great game against the Jets. Goodnight all.
